Project Suspension or Abandonment. 8.6.1 If the Project is suspended or abandoned in whole or part for more than three (3) months due to no fault of the A/E, the A/E shall be paid for all services performed prior to receipt of written notice from the Owner of such suspension or abandonment, including reimbursable expenses due. When the Project is resumed, the Architect shall be compensated for any actual expenses incurred in the interruption and resumption of the A/E’s services and the time schedules shall be equitably adjusted. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the Project is permanently abandoned by Agency due to its inability following its best efforts to sell bonds or otherwise raise money in order to provide the funds to cover Project costs, or if the Project is abandoned permanently due to the cancellation of the GSA Lease by the GSA prior to Project completion, then no termination fee shall be payable, and in the event of termination due to an inability to sell bonds, no payments for reimbursable expenditures incurred by Development Manager following Agency's notice to Development Manager that it is abandoning the Project shall be payable.

Project Suspension or Abandonment. If the Project is suspended or abandoned in whole or in part by the County for more than one hundred twenty (120) consecutive days during the pre-construction phase of the Project, or more than ninety (90) consecutive days during the construction phase of the Project, then DBT shall be compensated for all services performed prior to receipt of written notice from the County of such suspension or abandonment, together with Cost of the Work then due, including retainage (in the case of abandonment), reasonable and actual demobilization costs and DBT's Fee earned to the date of such suspension or abandonment. If the Project is resumed after being suspended beyond the applicable time periods set forth above, and DBT is re-engaged by the County, then DBT's compensation shall be equitably adjusted (including any demobilization and remobilization costs), but there shall be no adjustment in the GMP if the suspension is less than the applicable time periods set forth above.   • Suspension of Work The Department may, at its sole discretion, suspend any or all activities under the Contract, at any time, when it is in the best interest of the State of Florida to do so. The Customer may suspend a resulting contract or purchase order, at any time, when in the best interest of the Customer to do so. The Department or Customer will provide the Contractor written notice outlining the particulars of the suspension. After receiving a suspension notice, the Contractor must comply with the notice and will cease the performance of the Contract or purchase order. Suspension of work will not entitle the Contractor to any additional compensation. The Contractor will not resume performance of the Contract or purchase order until so authorized by the Department.
