Promotion Process for Supervisory. Rank 1. The Human Resources Department shall declare a supervisory position open. 2. The promotion process shall begin with the posting of an eligibility list, study guide, and closing date. 3. The Human Resources Department shall forward a promotion test eligibility list to the Chief of Police for posting. 4. The Chief of Police shall post the list and guide on the bulletin board in the police squad room and email all eligible employees a copy of the posting. 5. Eligible candidates who wish to participate in the promotion process must prepare an Employee Transfer/Promotion Request form, along with resume of no more than two (2) pages and submit both to the Human Resources Department by the posted closing date. 6. The Chief of Police shall submit a written examination to the Human Resources Department for review and approval at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the written test. The written test shall be conducted at least sixty (60) calendar days after the position has been declared open by the Human Resources Department. The written examination shall be conducted by the Human Resources Department after the performance evaluations and oral boards are complete. The written examination will be comprised of fifty (50) true/false and/or multiple choice questions. The written examination shall comprise twenty-five (25%) percent of the candidate’s score. 7. The Human Resources Department shall notify each participating candidate in writing of the date, time, and location of the oral interview and written test at least ten (10) days prior to both. 8. The Oral Boards will be conducted prior to the written test. Each oral board member's evaluation shall be sealed and submitted to the Human Resources Department at the end of the board's session. 9. Once the written exam is complete, the Human Resources Department shall compute each candidate's overall score utilizing the following formula: Written Test 25% 180 Evaluations (all equal to or lower than rank tested for) 25% Oral Board 25% Promotion Evaluations (all above rank tested for) 25% 10. Within ten (10) days after completion of the written test, the Human Resources Department shall provide the Chief of Police with a certified promotion list, listing each officer's name, average promotion evaluation score, average oral board score, test score, and overall score. The rankings shall be by numeric order utilizing the overall score.

  • Manufacturing (a) The Supplier shall without limitation be responsible, at no additional cost to the Purchaser, for: sourcing and procuring all raw materials for the Products; obtaining all necessary approvals, permits and licenses for the manufacturing of the Products; providing sufficient qualified staff and workers to perform the obligations under this Purchase Agreement; implementing and maintaining effective inventory and production control procedures with respect to the Products; and handling other matters as reasonably requested by the Purchaser from time to time. (b) The Supplier shall not change any process, material, component, packaging or manufacturing location without the Purchaser’s express prior written approval.

  • Marketing Plan The MCOP shall submit an annual marketing plan to ODM including all planned activities for promoting membership in or increasing awareness of the MCOP. The marketing plan submission shall include an attestation by the MCOP that the plan is accurate and is not intended to mislead, confuse, or defraud the eligible individuals or ODM.

  • Manufacturing and Marketing Rights The Company has not granted rights to manufacture, produce, assemble, license, market, or sell its products to any other person and is not bound by any agreement that affects the Company's exclusive right to develop, manufacture, assemble, distribute, market, or sell its products.

  • Manufacturing Services Jabil will manufacture the Product in accordance with the Specifications and any applicable Build Schedules. Jabil will reply to each proposed Build Schedule that is submitted in accordance with the terms of this Agreement by notifying Company of its acceptance or rejection within three (3) business days of receipt of any proposed Build Schedule. In the event of Jabil’s rejection of a proposed Build Schedule, Jabil’s notice of rejection will specify the basis for such rejection. When requested by Company, and subject to appropriate fee and cost adjustments, Jabil will provide Additional Services for existing or future Product manufactured by Jabil. Company shall be solely responsible for the sufficiency and adequacy of the Specifications [***].

  • Training and Professional Development 11.1 The Employer will develop and maintain an employee training and development plan and provide such plan to the Union upon request. Staff training is intended to provide an opportunity for classified staff employees for training sponsored by the University Training and Development and the UW Medical Centers Organizational Development and Training. Education/Professional Leave is intended to facilitate employee access to continuing education opportunities. Training and educational/professional leave may be used for the purpose of improving job performance, maintaining and increasing proficiency, preparing staff for greater responsibility, or increasing promotional opportunities within the framework of staff positions available at the University. 11.2 Any release time for training for employees accepted for such classes shall be in accordance with the Executive Order (currently No. 52) governing this matter. In the event that two or more employees request the same training period and supervision must limit the number of persons who may participate at one time due to work requirements, the selection will be made on a mutually agreeable basis within the department. 11.3 The training program is a proper subject for discussion by either departmental or University-wide Joint Union/Management Committees. 11.4 If the Employer requires an employee to receive training, reimbursement will be provided in accordance with the University travel rules. Employee attendance at Employer required training, either during or outside working hours, will be considered time worked and compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. 11.5 Employee attendance at training not required by the Employer and not covered by Executive Order 52, either on approved leave from or outside of working hours, will be voluntary and not considered time worked.

  • Quality Assurance The parties endorse the underlying principles of the Company’s Quality Management System, which seeks to ensure that its services are provided in a manner which best conforms to the requirements of the contract with its customer. This requires the Company to establish and maintain, implement, train and continuously improve its procedures and processes, and the employees to follow the procedures, document their compliance and participate in the improvement process. In particular, this will require employees to regularly and reliably fill out documentation and checklists to signify that work has been carried out in accordance with the customer’s specific requirements. Where necessary, training will be provided in these activities.

  • Promotion and Marketing For the purpose of promotion and marketing, the Borrower hereby authorizes and consents to the reproduction, disclosure and use by the Lenders and the Agent of its name, identifying logo and the Facilities. The Borrower acknowledges and agrees that the Lenders shall be entitled to determine, in their sole discretion, whether to use such information; that no compensation will be payable by the Lenders or the Agent in connection therewith; and that the Lenders and the Agent shall have no liability whatsoever to it or any of its employees, officers, directors, affiliates or shareholders in obtaining and using such information as contemplated herein.
