Protection of Facilities. Nothing shall be posted on, or tacked, stapled, nailed, screwed, or otherwise attached to the columns, walls, floors, or other parts of the hall exhibit area without permission from the proper building authority. Fluids, caustic or staining, must not be used where they may damage floor coverings. Packing, unpacking and assembly of exhibits shall be done only in designated areas and in conformity with directions of Exhibition Management, the hall manager or their assistants. Exhibitor shall not deface, injure or mar in any manner the facilities at the Hall. Exhibitor shall not paint or apply any other permanent covering to any of the walls, floors, ceilings or other areas of the facilities at the Hall or its furnishings or fixtures. Exhibitor acknowledges that Show Management and Hall Management reserve the right to remove all persons and property from the facilities and premises not complying with Show Management or Hall Management rules without the necessity of or resorting to any legal proceeding. Each Party shall be responsible for protecting its own facilities from possible damage by reason of electrical disturbances or faults caused by the operation, faulty operation or non-operation of the other Party’s facilities, and such other Party shall not be liable for any such damage so caused.

In no case shall either Party connect to the NID or tie down its connecting facility directly over the other Party's facility without prior approval of the other Party and without conditioning having been performed to isolate each Party's network. The Grantor covenants that no digging, tunneling, or other form of construction activity shall be done on the Grantor’s Real Property, the Right-of-Way Easement Area, or the Maintenance Easement Area that would disturb, damage, unearth, or undermine any of the Facilities, or endanger the lateral support to any of the Facilities.

Protection of Facilities. Once the Licensee mobilizes and occupies the Site, and until the formal acceptance of the Project by the Trustees, Licensee shall protect the Site and Work from theft, acts of malicious mischief, vandalism and unauthorized entry. During all hours that Work is not prosecuted, Licensee shall furnish such watchman’s services as necessary to safeguard materials and equipment in storage on the Project site, including Work in place or in process of fabrication, against theft, acts of malicious mischief, vandalism and other losses or damages. The Licensee shall be liable for any loss or damage that result from its failure to protect the Site and the Work. The Licensee shall protect adjoining property and nearby buildings, roads, and other facilities and improvements from dust, dirt, debris and other nuisances arising out of Licensee’s operations or storing practices. Dust shall be controlled by sprinkling or other effective methods acceptable to Trustees. An erosion and sedimentation control program shall be initiated, which includes measures addressing erosion caused by wind and water and sediment in runoff from site. A regular watering program shall be initiated to adequately control the amount of fugitive dust in accordance with applicable Air Quality Management District (AQMD) rules (see also Article 36.03, subsections: a-Air Pollution Control and b-Water Pollution Control).
