Protective Clothing Full-Time. The Hospital agrees to continue its present practices with respect to the provision of protective clothing and safety devices to employees, subject to the provision set out with respect to safety footwear. The Hospital further agrees to meet directly with representative of the Union or through the Accident Prevention Committee to discuss the need for any protective clothing or safety equipment in addition to that which the Hospital is presently providing. Protective Clothing Full-Time. The Hospital agrees to continue its present practices with respect to the provision of protective clothing and safety devices to employees, subject to the provision set out below with respect to safety footwear. The Hospital further agrees to meet directly with the representative of the Union or through the Accident Prevention Committee to discuss the need for any protective clothing or safety equipment in addition to that which the Hospital is presently providing. Effective September 1st of each year the Hospital will provide eighty dollars ($80) per year to each full-time employee and $45.00 per year to each regular part-time employee who is required by the Hospital to wear safety footwear during the course of his duties. Part-time Effective June 2nd, 1986 and on that date for each subsequent year, the Hospital will provide on each pay two cents ($.02) per hour for each hour worked to each employee who is required by the Hospital to wear safety footwear during the course of his duties. Full and Part Time Effective September 1, 2014, and on that date for each subsequent calendar year, the Hospital will provide one-hundred and twenty dollars ($120.00) per year to each full-time and regular part-time employee who is required by the Hospital to wear safety footwear during the course of their duties.

  • Protective Clothing 14.1 The Employer will be required to provide the following protective equipment (SAA approved) for use, when necessary, by employees during the performance of their required duties:

  • Protective Clothing and Equipment (a) The Employer shall provide and pay for all reasonable protective devices, clothing and other equipment necessary to properly protect Employees from injury and unhealthy conditions in the performance of their work. The Employer shall make provisions for the proper cleaning and maintenance of all safety equipment, devices and clothing at no cost to the Employees. The Employer shall make available to Employees an updated copy of applicable Health and Safety Legislation, Regulations, Policies and Standards including, but not limited to:

  • Uniforms and Protective Clothing 28.1 Where the employer requires an employee to wear a uniform, it shall be provided free of charge, but shall remain the property of the employer.
