PURPOSE AND RECOGNITION. 1.01 It is the intent and desire of both parties to establish, promote and facilitate an effective, harmonious and orderly working relationship, to provide for the prompt and equitable disposition of grievances which arise under the terms of this Collective Agreement, and to set out the terms and conditions of employment and other matters that have been agreed to by the parties.
