PURPOSE AND RECOGNITION. 1.01 The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish mutually satisfactory employment relations between the Corporation and the Association. It provides means for the settlement of grievances, and for the final settlement of disputes. Salaries, hours of work and other conditions of employment are established by mutual agreement. It is recognized that nurses wish to work cooperatively with the Corporation to provide the best possible community health services. The Corporation recognizes the Association as the exclusive bargaining agent for all registered nurses, graduate nurses and Nurse Practitioners employed by the Corporation within the Public Health Department save and except Program Managers and persons above the rank of Program Manager.
