QUALIFIED CHARTER AND/OR BAGGAGE ASSIGNMENT OPERATORS. No operator shall be allowed an over-the-road baggage assignment until he has completed a minimum of six (6) months of his probationary period. The amount by which wage rates paid to an operator pursuant to the section for charter and/or baggage assignment operations exceeds the amount such operator would have received at the regular or basic rate from time to time prescribed for operator by Section shall not be deducted from any amount payable by the Company to such operator in fulfilling the Guarantee by the Employer pursuant to Section Allocation of charter work to be changed at any time on mutual agreement of the Employer and Local All deadheading shall be paid at the charter hourly rate. MEAL One meal allowance for a charter of eight (8) hours duration. \ Commencing with the tenth (10th) hour of the same charter, a second meal allowance shall be paid and every successive five (5) hours thereafter, a further meal allowance will be paid.   • Subcontracting; Assignment The Contractor may not subcontract any portion of the services provided under this Contract without obtaining the prior written approval of the Procurement Officer, nor may the Contractor assign this Contract or any of its rights or obligations hereunder, without the prior written approval of the Procurement Officer provided, however, that a contractor may assign monies receivable under a contract after due notice to the State. Any subcontracts shall include such language as may be required in various clauses contained within this Contract, exhibits, and attachments. The Contract shall not be assigned until all approvals, documents, and affidavits are completed and properly registered. The State shall not be responsible for fulfillment of the Contractor’s obligations to its subcontractors.

  • Training Assignments The Supervisor or designee may establish written training assignments to enable an employee to gain the additional experience and training required for the job for a period of time not to exceed two years. At the completion of the training assignment, the employee’s pay will be set no less than the entry rate of pay for the occupational pay band.

  • ASSIGNMENT/SUB-CONTRACTING The Contractor agrees that he will not sell, assign or transfer this Agreement or any part thereof or interest therein without the prior written consent of the Owner.

  • Scaling Locations, Rules, and Organizations All logs from timber sold under the terms and conditions of this contract shall be: (1) scaled at a location approved in writing by STATE; (2) scaled by a third-party scaling organization with a current agreement with STATE; and (3) scaled using the Official Log Scaling and Grading Rules (as adopted by the Northwest Log Rules Advisory Group) and STATE special service scaling instructions in effect at the time the logs are scaled. Utilization scale shall be handled in accordance with the section titled, “Utilization Scale.” PURCHASER shall enter into a written agreement with a third-party scaling organization for the scaling of logs removed from the timber sale area. PURCHASER shall furnish STATE with a copy of the scaling agreement upon request. If logs are delivered when a TPSO scaler is not present, PURCHASER must provide STATE with a method to assure protection and accountability. PURCHASER shall provide STATE with remote check scaling opportunities for logs scaled under this contract. The last two loads at each delivery point shall be continuously available for checking. They shall remain available for a minimum of 48 hours unless replaced by other STATE loads. They shall be available as originally presented for scaling; i.e., if truck scaled, they shall be presented in bunks. In the event scaling is suspended for any reason, hauling operations shall be immediately suspended until approved alternate scaling services are provided, or service by the scaling organization is resumed.

  • ASSIGNMENT, TRANSFER, AND SUBCONTRACTING Contractor may not assign, transfer, or subcontract any portion of this contract without the Department's prior written consent. (18-4-141, MCA) Contractor is responsible to the Department for the acts and omissions of all subcontractors or agents and of persons directly or indirectly employed by such subcontractors, and for the acts and omissions of persons employed directly by Contractor. No contractual relationships exist between any subcontractor and the Department under this contract.
