Quarantine/Isolation. SEPARATION: Residential students are required to comply with requests from the College of Charleston to leave their assigned space due to COVID-19 or other public health or safety emergencies, and failure to do so is a violation of College policy and may subject a student to emergency removal from their assigned space. Students may be required to make accommodations for off-campus housing should they be required to isolate or quarantine outside of their assigned space. Removal from the assigned space to isolate or quarantine does not constitute termination of a residential student’s housing contract and obligations. The College of Charleston has limited isolation and quarantine spaces on campus and will provide emergency housing to students who have extenuating circumstances that prohibit them from leaving campus to isolate or quarantine on a space-available basis. Meals will be delivered to students who are granted emergency housing. Meal taps or Dining Dollars will be used to cover the cost of meals delivered. Meal charges will be placed on the student’s eBill if the student does not have a meal plan or Dining Dollars, or if the meal plan or Dining Dollars are insufficient to cover all meals delivered.
