Rate of Pay on Transfer. 21.01 Where an employee is transferred, he shall retain the same basic rate of pay he was receiving immediately prior to the transfer and shall be eligible for the annual increments applicable to his new position. Any allowance being received by a transferred employee under Article 22 (Premium Pay and Allowances) and not part of his basic salary shall not be applicable unless he is transferred in a supervisory or acting capacity. 21.02 The anniversary date of an employee who is transferred shall not change.

When such transfer is made at the request of an employee for any reason including the avoidance of layoff or when an employee is demoted to a lower grade, his/her salary shall be set at a rate in a lower grade which provides appropriate compensation for the work assigned.

  • Rate of Pay on Promotion 44.3.1 When an employee is appointed by the Council to a higher classification level in the same group, he shall be paid at the nearest rate in the new classification level which gives the employee a salary increase not less than the minimum increment of the higher classification level to which he is being appointed by the Council. If there is no such rate the employee shall be paid the maximum rate in his new scale. 44.3.2 Where an employee who is being paid Acting Pay is promoted to the position for which the employee is receiving Acting Pay, he shall be paid in that position at the rate at which the employee was being paid Acting Pay and the employee's first pay increment in that position shall become due on the date on which it would have become due as if the employee had been promoted to that position on the date on which he was most recently authorized to receive Acting Pay in that position.

  • Time of Payment During the performance of the services provided for in this Agreement, monthly payments shall be made based upon that portion of the services which has been completed. On or about the last day of each calendar month during the performance of the Basic Services to be provided under this Agreement, A/E shall submit to County working documents in any stage of completion to demonstrate incremental progress of Basic Services and the compensation which is due for percentage completion of Basic Services. On or about the last day of each calendar month during the performance of the Additional Services to be provided under Article 7, A/E shall submit to County working documents in any stage of completion to demonstrate incremental progress of Additional Services under an applicable Supplemental Agreement related thereto, and the compensation which is due for percentage completion of particular Additional Services. County shall review the documentation and shall pay each statement as set forth in this Article 8, however, the approval or payment of any statement shall not be considered evidence of performance by A/E to the point indicated by such statement or of receipt or acceptance by County of the services covered by such statement. Final payment does not relieve A/E of the responsibility of correcting any errors or omissions resulting from A/E’s negligence. Upon submittal of the initial invoice, A/E shall provide the County Auditor with an Internal Revenue Form W-9, Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification that is complete in compliance with the Internal Revenue Code, its rules and regulations.
