Re-Employment Eligibility. New Employees An employee whose name appears on the Reduction-in-Force list shall be offered re-employment by seniority when a position becomes available for which he/she is certified/licensed. If an employee acquires additional certification/licensure while on the Reduction-in- Force list, with a copy on file in the central office, he/she shall be eligible for a position opening in that area of certification/licensure as well as in any area of certification/licensure held at the time he/she was placed on the Reduction-in-Force list. No new employees shall be employed by the Board while there are employees on the Reduction- in-Force list who are certified/licensed for any opening of a bargaining unit position.

  • Verification of Employment Eligibility By executing this Agreement, Consultant verifies that it fully complies with all requirements and restrictions of state and federal law respecting the employment of undocumented aliens, including, but not limited to, the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, as may be amended from time to time, and shall require all subconsultants and sub-subconsultants to comply with the same.

  • Employment Eligibility Verification As required by IC § 22-5-1.7, the Contractor swears or affirms under the penalties of perjury that the Contractor does not knowingly employ an unauthorized alien. The Contractor further agrees that:

  • Post-Retirement Employment Unit members who retire from the University during the term of this Agreement may propose a post-retirement appointment of up to three years duration. During this post-retirement appointment, the total of retirement benefits and post-retirement salary paid by the University shall not exceed the salary paid at the time of retirement. The annual compensation received from the University for the post-retirement appointment shall not exceed fifty (50) percent of the annual salary at the time of retirement. The duties for a post-retirement appointment shall be defined and agreed to in writing by the bargaining unit member and the Employer/University Administration prior to the bargaining unit member's retirement. Such appointments are at the discretion of the Employer/University Administration and are subject to existing law and all rules and regulations of the State Retirement Board. The decision of the Employer/University Administration not to approve a proposal for a post-retirement appointment shall not be grievable under the Grievance and Arbitration Procedure, Article 7.

  • Employee Eligibility For purposes of this section, “eligible employee” shall be defined by the Public Employees’ Medical and Hospital Care Act.

  • Benefit Eligibility For purposes of the Benefit Plan entitlement, common-law and same sex relationships will apply as defined.

  • Re-employment After Retirement Employees who have reached retirement age as prescribed under the Pension (Municipal) Act and continue in the Employer's service, or are re-engaged within three (3) calendar months of retirement, shall continue at their former increment step in the pay rate structure of the classification in which they are employed, and the employee's previous anniversary date shall be maintained. All perquisites earned up to the date of retirement shall be continued or reinstated.

  • Pre-Employment Testing A pre-employment drug test will be conducted under the following conditions, except where conditions listed in Part 382.301(b)(c) are met:

  • Re-employment An employee who resigns her position and within sixty (60) days is re-employed, shall be granted a leave of absence without pay covering those days absent and shall retain all previous rights in relation to seniority and other fringe benefits subject to any benefit plan eligibility requirements.

  • School Year Employment If an employee is employed on the basis of a school year and such employment contemplates absences from the State payroll during the summer months or vacation periods scheduled by the Appointing Authority which occur during the regular school year, the employee shall nonetheless remain eligible for an Employer Contribution, provided that the employee appears on the regular payroll for at least one (1) working day in the payroll period immediately preceding such absences.

  • Group Benefits Eligibility 7.2.1 Participation in the Plan shall be a condition of employment for all teachers commencing employment for a full school year.
