Common use of Recall from Vacation Leave Clause in Contracts

Recall from Vacation Leave. When, during any period of vacation leave, an employee is recalled to duty, he/she shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, as normally defined by the Council, that he/she incurs (a) in proceeding to his/her place of duty, and (b) in returning to the place from which he/she was recalled if he/she immediately resumes vacation upon completing the assignment for which he/she was recalled, after submitting such accounts and within such time limits as are normally required by the Council.

The employee shall not be considered as being on vacation leave for any period for which he is to be reimbursed (under sub-clause 14.06) for reasonable expenses incurred by him.
