Common use of Recall from Vacation Leave Clause in Contracts

Recall from Vacation Leave. (a) Subject to the operational requirements of the service, the Employer will make every reasonable effort not to recall an employee to duty after he has proceeded on vacation leave. When, during any period of vacation leave, an employee i s recalled to duty, he shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, as normally defined by the Employer, that he incurs : i n proceeding to his place of duty, and i n returning to the place from which he was recalled if he resumes vacation upon completing the assignment for which he was recalled, after submitting such accounts as are normally required by the Employer. The employee shall not be considered as being on vacation leave during any period i n respect of which he i s entitled under clause to be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred by him.
