Common use of Recognition of Experience Clause in Contracts

Recognition of Experience. a. All teaching experience in government inspected schools shall be recognized and credited for placement on the salary schedule. Additionally, teachers with experience outside of teaching in a field or fields related closely to the main subjects of their courses may be credited with not more than five (5) years of experience, but in no event shall their salary exceed the maximum of the certificate classification on which they are paid.
