Recognition of Service and Experience. (a) From the time of commencement of employment an employee has three months in which to provide documentary evidence to the employer detailing any other relevant service or experience not disclosed at the time of commencement. This evidence, in the absence of other documentary evidence, may take the form of a statutory declaration.
(b) Until such time as the employee furnishes any such documentation contemplated in sub-clause (a), the employer shall pay the employee at the level for which proof has been provided.
(c) If within three months of commencing employment an employee does provide documentary evidence of other previous relevant service or experience not disclosed at the time of commencement, the employer shall pay the employee at the appropriate rate as and from the date of commencement that would have been paid from that date had the additional evidence been provided at that time.
(d) If an employee provides documentary evidence of other previous relevant service or experience not disclosed at the time of commencement after the said three months period, the employee shall be paid a rate appropriate for the previous relevant service or experience then proved, but only from the date of providing that evidence to the employer.
(e) An employee who is working in the same classification for more than one organisation shall notify the employer within one month of the end of each quarter of their hours worked with those other employers in the last quarter.
(f) An employee who is entitled to progress to the next year of service or experience (by reason of hours worked with other employers) as and from a particular date must provide proof of that entitlement within three months of that entitlement arising. If that proof is so provided, the employee shall be paid at the higher rate as and from the date they were entitled to progress to the next year of service or experience. If the proof is provided outside that three-month period, the employee shall be paid at the higher rate only from the date that proof is provided.
(g) A registered nurse or enrolled nurse who has trained outside New South Wales shall be paid as a registered nurse or enrolled nurse as from the date she or he notifies the employer in writing that she or he is eligible for registration or enrolment as a registered nurse or enrolled nurse; provided that she or he makes application for registration within seven days after being so notified that she or he is eligible for registration.

(i) The Employer shall notify each Nurse Caregiver in writing of the requirements of this clause at the time of the Nurse Caregiver’s commencement of employment. If the Employer does not so notify the Nurse Caregiver then the requirements of this clause shall not commence until the Employer does so notify the Nurse Caregiver.
(ii) From the time of commencement of employment the Nurse Caregiver has three months in which to provide documentary evidence to the Employer detailing any other ‘service’ or ‘experience’, as defined in Clause 7 – Definitions, not disclosed at the time of commencement. This evidence, in absence of other documentary evidence may take the form of a statutory declaration.
(iii) Until such time as the Nurse Caregiver furnishes any such documentation outlined in (ii) above the Employer shall pay the Nurse Caregiver at the level for which documentary evidence has been provided.
(iv) If within three months of commencing employment a Nurse Caregiver does provide documentary evidence of other previous service or experience not disclosed at the time of commencement, the Employer shall pay the Nurse Caregiver at the appropriate rate as and from the date of commencement that would have been paid from that date had the additional evidence been provided at that time.
(v) If a Nurse Caregiver provides documentary evidence of other previous service or experience not disclosed at the time of commencement after the said three months period, the Nurse Caregiver shall be paid a rate appropriate for the previous service, or experience, then provided but only from the date of providing that evidence to the Employer.

For part -time and casual Employees, work in a similar capacity for another Employer shall count as if the hours worked were with the Employer.

Recognition of Service and Experience. 17.1 The employer will recognise aged care industry service and experience that is of a similar nature with another employer to the employee’s current employment for the purposes of classifications with progression criteria.
17.2 The employer will recognise such prior service and experience upon production of documentary evidence satisfactory to the employer.
17.3 The employee’s new classification will apply from the date the evidence is received by the employer.
17.4 The employee’s classification will be backdated for accepted prior service if the evidence is received by the employer within three (3) months of the employee’s initial engagement.
17.5 A registered nurse or enrolled nurse who has trained outside New South Wales shall be paid as a registered nurse or enrolled nurse as from the date she or he notifies the employer in writing that she or he is eligible for registration or enrolment as a registered nurse or enrolled nurse; provided that she or he makes application for registration within seven days after being so notified that she or he is eligible for registration.
17.6 For the purpose of yearly progression based on service and experience an employee must complete 1976 hours of work.
Recognition of Service and Experience. (i) The employer will recognise the prior service and experience, and/or the concurrent service of an employee with other employers, upon production of documentary evidence satisfactory to the employer.
(ii) The employees new classification will apply from the date the evidence is received by the employer.
(iii) The employees classification will be backdated for prior service if the evidence is received by the employer within three months of the employees initial engagement.
(iv) The employee on commencement of their employment will be advised to provide the employer with documentary evidence of previous service and experience for classification purposes.
(v) A registered nurse or enrolled nurse who has been registered or enrolled outside New South Wales will be paid as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse as from the date the Employee notifies the employer in writing that the Employee is eligible for registration or enrolment as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse. An Employee seeking recognition of training outside New South Wales must make an application for registration within seven days after being notified that the Employee is eligible for registration.
(vi) He or she shall notify the employer as soon as possible after he or she has applied
(vii) For the purpose of yearly progression based on service and experience an employee must complete 1786 hours of work.

Recognition of Service and Experience. 7.1 Progression – Registered Nurses
(i) Registered Nurses: Standard Progression For the purposes of standard progression as a Registered Nurse, the following definitions apply:
a) New Graduate Registered Nurse means a registered nurse who has less than 1976 ordinary hours of service.
Recognition of Service and Experience. 11.1 Xxxxxx Jewish Hospital shall notify each nurse in writing of the requirements of this clause at the time of the nurse's commencement of employment. If Xxxxxx Jewish Hospital does not so notify the nurse then the requirements of this clause shall not commence until Xxxxxx Jewish Hospital does so notify the nurse.
11.2 From the time of commencement of employment, the nurse has three months in which to provide documentary evidence to Xxxxxx Jewish Hospital detailing any other `service' or `experience', as defined in Clause 5 Definitions, not disclosed at the time of commencement. This evidence, in the absence of other documentary evidence may take the form of a statutory declaration.
11.3 Until such time as the nurse furnishes any such documentation contemplated in 11.2 above Xxxxxx Jewish Hospital shall pay the nurse at the level for which documentary evidence has been provided.
11.4 If within three months of commencing employment a nurse does provide documentary evidence of other previous service or experience not disclosed at the time of commencement, Xxxxxx Jewish Hospital shall pay the nurse at the appropriate rate as and from the date of commencement that would have been paid from that date had the additional evidence been provided at that time.
11.5 If a nurse provides documentary evidence of other previous service or experience not disclosed at the time of commencement after the said three months period, the nurse shall be paid a rate appropriate for the previous service or experience then proved but only from the date of providing that evidence to Xxxxxx Jewish Hospital.
11.6 A nurse who is working as a nurse for more than one organisation shall notify Xxxxxx Jewish Hospital within one month of the end of each quarter of their hours of service or experience, as appropriate, worked with those other employers in the last quarter.
