Recognition of OU Students Association. The OU recognises the OU Students Association as the single official representative body for the student voice both within the OU and externally. Elected officers and other representatives of the OU Students Association are protected by and subject to a number of student policies and codes of practice, regardless of whether or not they are current students of the University as defined by the academic regulations. These policies include, but are not limited to: the Student Charter, the Dignity and Respect Policy, the Code of Practice for Student Discipline, the Complaints and Appeals Procedure, the Safeguarding Policy, the Information Advice and Guidance Policy, the Advocacy Guidelines and Procedure, the Anti-Fraud, Bribery and Corruption Policy, the Computing Policy, the Data Protection Policy, the Code of Practice for OU Events and the Freedom of Information Code of Practice.

Appointment of members of OU Committees The OU Students Association will have the right to appoint members to any committee whose terms of reference affect the student experience. The number and qualification of such members will be approved by the Council or the Senate as appropriate, and set out in the Terms of Reference for that committee. All student members of OU Committees will be entitled to claim reasonable expenses for attendance.

  • Recognition of the Association The County recognizes the Government Supervisors Association of Florida, OPEIU, Local 100, ("Association") which has been certified, by the Florida Public Employee Relations Commission, Certification Number 1289, as the sole and exclusive representative of the employees within the Bargaining Unit, as described pursuant to PERC Case No. EL-2000-013, and as amended by mutual agreement of the parties for the purpose of collective bargaining with respect to wages, hours of employment, and other terms and conditions of employment.   • RECOGNITION OF UNION Clause 2.01 The Employer hereby recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining agency for all employees of Greater Sudbury Hydro Plus Incorporated in respect of hours of work, wages and working conditions save and except non-union supervisors, persons above the rank of non-union supervisor, and staff employed in a confidential capacity in matters relating to Labour Relations.   • RECOGNITION AND APPLICATION A. For purposes of this agreement only, and subject to the provisions of Chapter 288 of the Nevada Revised Statutes, the County and the unincorporated town of Jackpot recognize the Association as the bargaining agent for the employees scheduled to work at least 1040 hours or more during the fiscal year (hereinafter referred to as “regular employees”), employed in the classifications set forth in Exhibit “A” to negotiate in respect to those mandatory subjects of bargaining set forth in NRS Section 288.150(2), but excluding District Court and juvenile probation appointees of the Fourth Judicial District, volunteers, department heads, elected officials, supervisory and administrative employees, temporary employees and employees who have decided pursuant to NRS 288.140(2) to act for themselves with respect to any condition of their employment.

  • Consideration of Criminal History in Hiring and Employment Decisions 10.14.1 Contractor agrees to comply fully with and be bound by all of the provisions of Chapter 12T, “City Contractor/Subcontractor Consideration of Criminal History in Hiring and Employment Decisions,” of the San Francisco Administrative Code (“Chapter 12T”), including the remedies provided, and implementing regulations, as may be amended from time to time. The provisions of Chapter 12T are incorporated by reference and made a part of this Agreement as though fully set forth herein. The text of the Chapter 12T is available on the web at xxxx://xxxxx.xxx/olse/fco. Contractor is required to comply with all of the applicable provisions of 12T, irrespective of the listing of obligations in this Section. Capitalized terms used in this Section and not defined in this Agreement shall have the meanings assigned to such terms in Chapter 12T.
