Recognition of Service Pay. (a) In addition to salary as set out in Appendix A, the Corporation shall pay Recognition of Service Pay based on service with the Town, as follows and as set out in Appendix D: Effective October 1, 2004 1% after 8 years of service 2% after 17 years of service 3% after 23 years of service Effective April 1, 2005 2% after 8 years of service 4% after 17 years of service 6% after 23 years of service Effective October 1, 2005 3% after 8 years of service 6% after 17 years of service 9% after 23 years of service

Recognition of Service Pay. The Corporation shall provide Recognition of Service Pay, based on full-time fire service with the Town of Xxxxxxxx Fire Department, to eligible Firefighters, including Prevention and Training staff, upon the completion of 8 years of service, completion of 17 years of service and completion of 23 years of service. The recognition pay will be applied to a First Class Fire Fighter rate, and the dollar value will be added to the salary for Captains, Prevention and Training staff. Such service recognition pay shall be paid on the next full pay period that the employee has completed the eligible years of service and shall be payable biweekly in accordance with the normal pay practices. The service recognition premium shall be based on a percentage of the 1st Class Firefighter rate as follows: 3% after 8 years of service 6% after 17 years of service 9% after 23 years of service

  • Transition of Services Upon request by the State prior to expiration or earlier termination of this Contract or any Services provided in this Contract, Contractor shall provide reasonable and necessary assistance to accomplish a complete transition of the Services from Contractor to the State or any replacement provider designated solely by the State without any interruption of or adverse impact on the Services. Contractor shall cooperate fully with the State or any successor provider and shall promptly take all steps required to assist in effecting a complete transition of the Services designated by the State. All services related to such transition shall be performed at no additional cost beyond what would be paid for the Services in this Contract.
