Recreation and Canteen - Xxxxxx. Offenders shall be provided indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities on a daily basis except for offenders in lockdown status. Offenders will be provided with commissary service in accordance with established CDCR policies. Any profits from the commissary operation shall be deposited in the Offender Welfare Fund, to be administered in accordance with and in a manner consistent with established CDCR policies. 4.07.1 The CONTRACTOR shall enforce all hair grooming standards as established by CDCR policy (Title 15, chapter 1, Article 5). The CONTRACTOR shall also establish and maintain a plan of operation for on-site inmate xxxxxx services. Xxxxxx service procedures must provide for the safety, security and maintenance of the designated area, tools, solutions, equipment and comply with all applicable health and sanitation codes. The number of inmate xxxxxx assignments shall be consistent with the need to readily service the inmate population. The CONTRACTOR should strive to maintain an ethnically diverse barbers service in both inmates assigned and services provided. The CONTRACTOR shall ensure that xxxxxx services are directly available and accessible to the inmate population. Hours of operation must therefore be scheduled in correlation to other facility programs, activities and other inmate assignments. The xxxxxx service shall comply with acceptable and applicable codes, practices, standards and requirements established by the appropriate state regulatory agency in the state where the Facility is located and ACA standards. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for developing a plan of operation for inmate xxxxxx services that, at a minimum, must: (a) ensure that tools are properly inventoried, maintained and accounted for at all times; (b) provide for trained inmate barbers that are hired consistent with Facility policy and ACA standards; and (c) ensure that inmate barbers and services are provided to serve an ethnically diverse inmate population The CONTRACTOR shall provide a designated xxxxxx area, centrally located within the facility and adjacent to the inmate population, that is readily accessible to all inmates for the personal maintenance of hair grooming standards in accordance with CDCR requirements. The CONTRACTOR may also provide multiple designated inmate xxxxxx areas equitably located within various areas of the facility to achieve the same purpose within the framework of safety and security.   • Recreation Recreation rooms shall be supplied. Smokes and soft drinks shall be available. Outside walls of the above to be completely closed-in cold weather. Sidewalk to be provided between the living quarters, from living quarters to dining rooms and recreation rooms. The above to be Standards for Stationary or Permanent type camps. In the initial construction of the above, the camp construction workers in areas where there are no hotel accommodations, shall construct such housing as is necessary for them (this is not a tent). When bunkhouses are built to the degree that they can be occupied, the camp construction workers shall move into such quarters and their original buildings shall be disposed of or not used for lodging from time to time.

  • Pharmacy Services The Contractor shall establish a network of pharmacies. The Contractor or its PBM must provide at least two (2) pharmacy providers within thirty (30) miles or thirty (30) minutes from a member’s residence in each county, as well as at least two (2) durable medical equipment providers in each county or contiguous county.

  • SHOP XXXXXXX On all jobs where journeymen plumbers are employed, the Business Manager or his duly designated agent shall appoint a shop xxxxxxx and, at the time of such appointment, give the Employer written notice of such appointment of a shop xxxxxxx or successor. There shall be no restrictions as to the amount of work such shop xxxxxxx shall perform nor shall his duties as xxxxxxx interfere with his work unreasonably. However, a shop xxxxxxx shall have the right, during working time and with no loss of pay, to spend reasonable time adjusting grievances including time to meet with Employees and supervisors, after notifying his immediate supervisor of his intent. Failure on the part of a shop xxxxxxx, in the opinion of the Employer, to perform a reasonable day’s work, may, at the option of the Employer, result in his dismissal or removal from the job and a successor appointed. It is understood that such dismissal or removal shall not take place without mutual agreement between the Employer, the Business Manager of the LOCAL UNION, or his duly appointed agent. Shop stewards shall not participate in matters related to the referral, hiring, layoff, or discharge of Employees except that the Employer shall request each new Employee to report to the shop xxxxxxx. The shop xxxxxxx will make sure that the Employee has received the job rules and the safety rules. The shop stewards shall be informed of all layoffs, transfers, discharges, and shall make sure Employees are properly paid. Shop stewards shall assist any Employee receiving a serious injury on the job or becoming sick. If necessary, the shop xxxxxxx shall report this information to the xxxxxxx and the LOCAL UNION at once. Shop stewards shall have no authority whatsoever to call, order, or create a strike, work stoppage, or slowdown. He shall report all serious matters to the LOCAL UNION office.

  • Cell Phones The College follows the State’s Cell Phone Policy. Employees who receive cell phones from the College shall also abide by this Policy. The College shall provide the Policy to any employee who is given a cell phone. Employees are responsible for the cost of all personal calls. While the College anticipates some incidental personal use of cell phones, it is also expected that such use is infrequent.
