Reduction of full-time annual working hours. 1. Employees with a contract of employment for 1,872 hours a year as referred to in the first paragraph of Article 6.1 may on request temporarily perform up to 184 hours of work less each year than is provided for by their full-time appointment. 2. The following conditions apply to the reduction of working hours: a. the request by the employee shall if possible be made during the annual appraisal interview and relate to the following annual period; b. the request by the employee shall be granted, unless there are substantial interests of the institution opposed to it; c. agreements on the scope and duration of the reduction of working hours shall be recorded in writing; d. an amount corresponding to the hourly salary that applies for the employee shall be withheld from the employee’s salary for each hour less to be worked; e. during the period of reduced working hours the accumulation of the pension and the division of the payment of the pension premium between the employee and the competent authority shall remain unchanged, so long as the reduction is non-recurring; f. no holiday entitlements shall be accrued over the fewer hours worked.   • Base Annual Salary “Base Annual Salary” means the greater of (1) the highest annual rate of base salary in effect for the Executive during the 12 month period immediately prior to a Change in Control or, (2) the annual rate of base salary in effect at the time Notice of Termination is given (or on the date employment is terminated if no Notice of Termination is required).

  • Full-Time Nurse is a Nurse who is hired to a position on a regular or temporary basis to work the work period described in Article 7.00 of this Agreement.

  • Payment for annual leave (a) Before going on annual leave, an employee will be paid the amount of wages they would have received for ordinary time worked had they not been on leave during that period. (b) At the election of the employee such payments may be paid in accordance with the usual pay day relevant to the period of leave being taken.

  • Cashing out of Annual Leave (a) Paid Annual Leave must not be cashed out except in accordance with an agreement under clause 41.8. (b) Each cashing out of a particular amount of paid Annual Leave must be the subject of a separate agreement under clause 41.8. (c) The Employer and an Employee may agree in writing to the cashing out of a particular amount of accrued paid Annual Leave by the Employee. An agreement this clause must state: (i) the amount of Annual Leave to be cashed out and the payment to be made; and (ii) the date on which the payment is to be made. (d) An agreement under clause 41.8 must be signed by the Employer and Employee and, if the Employee is under 18 years of age, by the Employee’s parent or guardian. (e) The payment must not be less than the amount that would have been payable had the Employee taken the Annual Leave at the time the payment is made. (f) An agreement must not result in the Employee’s remaining accrued entitlement to paid Annual Leave being less than four (4) weeks. (g) The Employer must keep a copy of any agreement under clause 41.8 as an Employee record.

  • Full Time and Attention During the Employment Term, Executive shall devote his or her full time and attention to the business of the Company and will not, without the prior written consent of the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, be engaged (whether or not during normal business hours) in any other business or professional activity, whether or not such activities are pursued for gain, profit or other pecuniary advantage. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Executive shall not be prevented from (a) engaging in any civic or charitable activity for which Executive receives no compensation or other pecuniary advantage, (b) investing his or her personal assets in businesses which do not compete with the Company, provided that such investments will not require any services on the part of Executive in the operation of the affairs of the businesses and that Executive’s participation is solely that of an investor, or (c) purchasing securities in any corporation whose securities are regularly traded, provided that such purchases will not result in Executive owning beneficially at any time 5% or more of the equity securities of any corporation engaged in a business competitive with that of the Company.

  • Payment for Working Overtime on a Holiday Where an employee is required to work authorized overtime in excess of his regularly scheduled hours on a paid holiday, such employee shall receive twice (2x) his regular straight time hourly rate for such authorized overtime.

  • Payment for Working on a Holiday (The following clause is applicable to full-time employees only)

  • Payment of Annual Leave Upon resignation, retirement, or dismissal of any employee in the bargaining unit, he/she shall receive a sum equal to the number of days of annual leave remaining to his/her credit, provided that any or all amounts may be applied to offset any amounts owed the state by the employee. In the event of death of an employee while in the bargaining unit, a sum equal to the number of days annual leave remaining shall be paid to his/her estate.

  • Full-Time Only During the year of the leave, seniority shall continue to accumulate. Service for the purposes of vacation and salary progression and other benefits will be retained but will not accumulate during the period of the leave.

  • Average Annual Compensation The Executive's "Average Annual Compensation" for purposes of this Agreement shall be deemed to mean the average level of compensation paid to the Executive by the Employers or any subsidiary thereof during the most recent five taxable years preceding the Date of Termination, including Base Salary and benefits and bonuses under any employee benefit plans of the Employers.
