Registered Professional Engineer. The conduct of the pre-commissioning tests, as specified in this Annexure, shall be carried out in the presence of a Registered Professional Electrical Engineer, as designated/appointed by Facility Owner, and who shall have adequate knowledge and competence directly related to the type or nature of the tests being carried out. Upon satisfactory completion of all tests, the test results shall be summarised in a test report, duly signed and certified by the Facility Owner’s Registered Professional Electrical Engineer and duly signed as witness by the CEB Registered Professional Electrical Engineer and the Independent Engineer. This test report shall then be submitted to the CEB and the Independent Engineer prior to energisation of the switchgear. Registered Professional Engineer. A person who is registered as a professional engineer in the state where the work is to be performed. However, a professional engineer, registered in any state is deemed to be a "registered professional engineer" within the meaning of this standard when approving designs for "manufactured protective systems" or "tabulated data" to be used in interstate commerce.
