Regular Part-Time Employees and Temporary County Employees. 1. A regular part-time employee is an employee who works a regular ongoing work schedule and is in a fiscal year's budgeted and authorized County position. This type of employee works sixteen (16) or more hours per week and has satisfactorily completed his or her probationary period following initial hire. This type of employee is generally assigned to a regular part-time work schedule. Part-time employees shall be offered the opportunity to work fill-in hours within their position or position series, at the employee’s regular rate of pay, prior to the use of temporary county employees.
