Release Time for Association. The Association shall have available eight (8) work days annually of aid leave to allow members to be released from employment responsibilities to attend professional meetings related to Association or District business. The Association President shall designate those members who will use such days without loss of pay or benefits. The Board shall not reimburse those attending such meetings for any costs incurred. Likewise, the Association shall not be responsible for reimbursing the District for the costs of substitutes used to replace members attending such meetings. The Superintendent may approve the use of additional days, provided the Association will reimburse the Board for the cost of substitute(s) used to cover any such additional days. Notification of the days to be used and members who will be absent will be provided by the Association President to the effected building principal at least five (5) working days prior to the anticipated absence(s).   • Association Release Time Subd. 1. The Employer and the Association agree that the release of an ASF Member from normal job duties to perform other service shall be governed as follows:

  • Leave for Association Business The Hospital agrees to grant leaves of absence, without pay, to nurses selected by the Association to attend Association business including conferences, conventions and Provincial Committee meetings and to any nurse elected to the position of Local Co-ordinator. The cumulative total leave of absence, the amount of notice, the number of nurses that may be absent at any time from one area and the number of days (including those of the Local Co-ordinator) is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions. During such leave of absence, a nurse's salary and applicable benefits or percentage in lieu of fringe benefits shall be maintained by the Hospital and the local Association agrees to reimburse the Hospital in the amount of the daily rate of the full-time nurse or in the amount of the full cost of such salary and percentage in lieu of fringe benefits of a part-time nurse except for Provincial Committee meetings which will be reimbursed by the Association. The Hospital will bill the local Association within a reasonable period of time. Part-time nurses will receive service and seniority credit for all leaves granted under this Article.

  • Release Time for Negotiations CSEA shall have the right to designate a maximum of six (6) employees, who shall be given reasonable release time to participate in negotiations.

These factors make up the order of benefit determination rules, described in greater detail below:

  • Right to Grieve Other Disciplinary Action (a) Disciplinary action grievable by the employee shall include written censures, letters of reprimand and adverse reports or employee appraisals. (b) An employee shall be given a copy of any document, report, incident, or notation placed on the employee's file which might be the basis of disciplinary action. (c) Should an employee dispute any such entry in her file, she shall be entitled to recourse through the grievance procedure and the eventual resolution thereof shall become part of her personnel record. (d) Upon the employee's written request, any such document, other than official evaluation reports, shall be removed from the employee's file after the expiration of eighteen (18) months from the date it was issued provided there has not been a further infraction. (e) The Employer agrees not to introduce as evidence in any hearing any document from the file of an employee, the existence of which the employee was not aware at the time of filing
