Relief Transfer. Upon request and with proper notice, a regular full- 28 or part-time nurse can transfer to a relief position in the same nursing unit and 29 shift, if available, or alternatively to a position in the relief pool. The nurse must 30 agree to comply with normal requirements of the relief position, and must not be 31 in an active disciplinary process. This type of transfer shall not require position 32 posting or bidding otherwise required by this Article.

Upon request and with proper notice, a regular full- or part- time bargaining unit member who has been employed in their current position for at least six (6) months can transfer to an open posted relief position in the same unit and shift, if available. The bargaining unit member must agree to comply with the requirements of the relief position, and must meet the Hospital requirements for transfer as outlined in Article 5.
Relief Transfer. Upon request and with proper notice, a 5 regular full- or part-time nurse can transfer to a posted relief 6 position in the same nursing unit. The nurse must agree to 7 comply with normal requirements of the relief position and 8 must not be in an active disciplinary process.
