Remote Localities Allowance. An employee who lives and works in a remote locality is paid a loading on the ordinary rate of pay, or an equivalent benefit, in accordance with the award rate as set out in the SACS Award.

Remote Localities Allowance. Existing staff who received a remote locality payment available under the terms of a previous Agreement, will retain a payment in lieu of remote localities conditions. This will become a grandfathered figure paid as an all-purpose allowance during the life of this Agreement but does not grant any new entitlement to that person above that which was paid at the time of that preservation.   • Leave for Association Business The Hospital agrees to grant leaves of absence, without pay, to nurses selected by the Association to attend Association business including conferences, conventions and Provincial Committee meetings and to any nurse elected to the position of Local Co-ordinator. The cumulative total leave of absence, the amount of notice, the number of nurses that may be absent at any time from one area and the number of days (including those of the Local Co-ordinator) is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions. During such leave of absence, a nurse's salary and applicable benefits or percentage in lieu of fringe benefits shall be maintained by the Hospital and the local Association agrees to reimburse the Hospital in the amount of the daily rate of the full-time nurse or in the amount of the full cost of such salary and percentage in lieu of fringe benefits of a part-time nurse except for Provincial Committee meetings which will be reimbursed by the Association. The Hospital will bill the local Association within a reasonable period of time. Part-time nurses will receive service and seniority credit for all leaves granted under this Article.

  • Annual Paid Sick Leave Fifteen (15) days sick leave per year shall be earned by an employee at the rate of 1.25 days for every month that an employee is employed.

  • Copayments and annual out-of-pocket maximums For the first and second year of the contract: Tier 1 copayment: Fourteen dollar ($14) copayment per prescription or refill for a Tier 1 drug dispensed in a thirty (30) day supply. Tier 2 copayment: Twenty-five dollar ($25) copayment per prescription or refill for a Tier 2 drug dispensed in a thirty (30) day supply. Tier 3 copayment: Fifty dollar ($50) copayment per prescription or refill for a Tier 3 drug dispensed in a thirty (30) day supply. Out of pocket maximum: There is an annual maximum eligible out-of-pocket expense limit for prescription drugs of eight hundred dollars ($800) per person or one thousand six hundred dollars ($1,600) per family.

  • Cumulative Sick Leave Plan Each employee shall accumulate sick leave with pay entitlement at the rate of one-half work day for each full bi-weekly pay period on paid status up to a maximum accumulation of 155 days of unused sick leave with pay entitlement.

  • Annual Sick Leave All full-time employees (i.e. hours per week) shall be entitled to twenty (20) days of sick leave per year. An employee joining the Board staff during the year shall be given current sick leave credits on the basis of days for each months' employment. The sick leave entitlement for part-time employees shall be according to time worked.

  • State Employee Group Insurance Program (SEGIP) During the life of this Agreement, the Employer agrees to offer a Group Insurance Program that includes health, dental, life, and disability coverages equivalent to existing coverages, subject to the provisions of this Article. All insurance eligible employees will be provided with a Summary Plan Description (SPD) called “Your Employee Benefits”. Such SPD shall be provided no less than biennially and prior to the beginning of the insurance year. New insurance eligible employees shall receive a SPD within thirty (30) days of their date of eligibility.

  • Destination CSU-Pueblo scholarship This articulation transfer agreement replaces all previous agreements between CCA and CSU-Pueblo in Bachelor of Science in Physics (Secondary Education Emphasis). This agreement will be reviewed annually and revised (if necessary) as mutually agreed.
