Replacement Casuals. (a) Replacement casuals may be used by an Employer to replace regular employees when such regular employees are off due to ill- ness or other absence, except when an absence of a regular employ- ee continues beyond three (3) consecutive months. A replacement casual shall not thereafter be used to fill such absence unless the Employer and the Local Union mutually agree to the continued use of a replacement casual.

Replacement Casuals. Replacement casuals are defined as employees who may only be utilized by the Employer to replace regular employees when such regular employees are absent due to illness, pending acceptance and return to work following notice of recall, vacations or other absence, except when an absence of a regular employee continues beyond three (3) consecutive months, a replacement casual shall not thereafter be used to fill such absence, unless the Employer and the Local Union mutually agree to the continued use of a replacement casual. To be considered a replacement, the casual must work on the same day that the absence occurred, doing the same work as the absent employee otherwise would have done within three (3) hours of the absent employee’s scheduled start time. A casual when called to work shall be guaranteed three (3) hours pay when replacing a part-time shift, and eight (8) hours pay when replacing a full-time shift.

  • Replacement Parts Replacement parts for goods purchased by Buyer are for the purpose of this Section defined as “Parts” (and are also considered “goods” under this Order). Unless specified otherwise by Buyer in writing, Supplier shall provide Parts (or upon Buyer’s written consent, an alternative replacement part that provides the same form, fit and function as the Part(s)) for a period of twenty (20) years after production of the goods (into which the applicable Parts are incorporated) ceases. Supplier shall continue to supply such Parts past the twenty (20) year period if Buyer orders at least twenty (20) Parts per year during such twenty-year period. The prices for any Parts purchased in the first two (2) years of the twenty-year period shall not exceed those prices in effect at the time production of the goods ceases, and no set up charges shall be permitted by Supplier or paid by Xxxxx during this two-year period. Thereafter, the prices for Parts shall be negotiated based on Supplier’s actual cost of production of such Parts plus any special packaging costs. No minimum order requirements shall apply unless the parties mutually agree in advance. After the end of the twenty-year period, Supplier shall continue to maintain in good working condition all Supplier-owned tooling required to produce the Parts and shall not dispose of such tooling without offering Buyer the right of first refusal to purchase such tooling.

  • Licenses for Permanent Installation The contractor must comply with all State mandatory licensing requirements prior to installation. Questions on licensing requirements should be directed to the State Licensing Board. Contractor must furnish and install all furniture and materials in compliance with all applicable codes, whether local, state, or federal; and that all permits or licenses required for installation will be obtained without cost to the State.

  • Maintenance, Repair and Replacement Tenant shall keep all such Fixtures in good order and shall maintain, repair and replace the same when necessary with items at least equal in utility to the Fixtures being replaced, provided however, that Tenant will not be required to maintain, repair and replace any Fixtures which performed a function which has become obsolete or otherwise is no longer necessary or desirable in connection with the use or operation of the Premises, unless such failure to replace would reduce the value of the Premises or would result in a reduced level of maintenance of the Premises, in which case Tenant shall be required to install such Fixtures as may be necessary to prevent such reduction in the value of the Premises or in the level of maintenance.
