REPORT ALLOWANCE. 17.01 In the event that an Employee reports for work on their regular shift and the Company has not made a good faith attempt to advise the Employee not to report, they will be given at least four (4) hours employment at their regular straight time hourly rate of pay or, at the election of the Company, they will be paid a minimum of four (4) hours pay at their regular straight time hourly rate. If the Company decides not to provide work as a result of some occurrence beyond the control of the Company, the Company shall not be liable to pay an Employee under this Article. Further, provided that no Employee shall receive less than four (4) hours pay for any shift for which they report, unless they leave at their own request or are discharged for cause.
