Common use of Required Evaluations Clause in Contracts

Required Evaluations. a. All employees, including new employees, shall be evaluated annually. Such evaluations are to be completed no later than May 15 of the year in which the evaluation takes place. b. If the supervisor contemplates recommending that an employee be placed on probation an evaluation shall be completed prior to any such recommendation. Such evaluation shall take the form of a letter informing the employee of the evaluator’s recommendation to the Superintendent that the employee be placed on probation and the supporting information that is provided with the recommendation. c. If the employee is transferred after forty-five (45) days from a position to another position not under the administrator’s jurisdiction, an evaluation shall be made at the time of transfer. d. If an employee resigns during the school year, upon request of the employee, a final evaluation shall be completed prior to the resignation date, provided that prior sufficient notice of resignation is given.
