Required Jury Duty. Any teacher who is required to serve as a juror shall be granted leave with pay while serving on jury duty contingent upon the teacher paying to the Board any fees received, minus travel allowance, for such jury service. The teacher may seek to be excused from jury duty. Teachers, upon notification by the court that they are not required to appear for jury duty on any given day after the start of their contracted duty day, are required to promptly return to work.
