Resource Room Teachers. Resource room teachers shall be assigned no more than six class periods of instructional time per day, and shall have no additional administrative duties. Maximum student/teacher ratios and teaching loads shall be in accordance with IEP’s and New York State regulations, and shall improve upon those requirements wherever possible.

Resource Room Teachers. The district shall maintain a maximum caseload for Resource Room teachers as follows: Elementary School: 1 teacher per 28 students Middle School: 1 teacher per 28 students High School: 1 teacher per 28 students If on the tenth calendar day of the month a 1.0 FTE Resource Room teacher’s caseload exceeds these levels, the affected teacher will be compensated $125 per student over the caseload per month. This compensation will be pro-rated per FTE. If any caseload reaches beyond the levels noted above, additional support will be provided. When two or more teachers work in a building, efforts will be made to balance the caseload among resource teachers. The support will be mutually agreed upon between the administrator and the affected teacher and may include one or more of the follow:
Resource Room Teachers. Each FTE teacher serving special education 2 students in building based programs will serve a maximum IEP caseload of 3 35 students after the 1st of December.

  • Cable Television, Telephone & Internet Services Long Distance calling may be done only through the use of a prepaid phone card or by charges made to a third party number if using a provided, in room telephone. Neither the Institution nor the Manager guarantees the availability of telephone service or cable television services. If the Resident wants additional cable television, telephone or internet service above and beyond any that may be provided as “standard” in the Residence, the Resident must submit full details to and request and obtain the prior written approval of the Manager and Institution. With respect to Internet Services, the Institution may at its discretion only allow either the standard provided service or the approved alternate service and not both at the same time (Residents will need to complete the Institution’s standard forms issued by their IT department). Cutting of wiring, boring of holes, the use of wireless routers, routers, or switches are not permitted. Any unauthorized services or equipment may be removed by the Manager, at the Resident’s expense, without notice or liability. All Residents are subject to the Institution’s and/or Service Provider’s current Internet, cable television and telephone enrolment and usage policies.

  • STUDENT SAFETY The Parties agree that when a Student attending a College facility expresses to any College employee a suicidal intention or a threat of physical harm to others, a protocol to be agreed prior to the effective date of this MOU will be executed. The protocol will prioritize ensuring that the Student does not pose a threat to self or others. The College will prioritize transitioning management of the issue to School District, the parent / guardian of the student or the most appropriate authority or entity to address the crisis at hand. Often the College Police Department will assess the situation and coordinate that transition with its School District counterpart. School District designates College as its agent under any applicable statutory authority or parent / guardian consent to treatment for the limited purpose of this crisis-response intervention. When on the College campus, Students will follow the policies and procedures of the College to ensure the safety and well-being of the fellow classmates, faculty, staff and visitors. The Colleges will develop standard protocols for various emergency situations. To ensure safety precautions, the College enrolls all students, faculty and staff, including Students in Dual Credit programs, into emergency alert messages. These messages are sent to all groups mentioned via the College email, robocalls and text messages to the telephones listed in the system of record. Alamo Colleges District is subject to legislation requiring it to allow licensees to carry concealed handguns on its campuses effective August 1, 2017, and Students will potentially encounter license holders availing themselves of this privilege. Any notice of these facts to parents of Students will be the responsibility of the School District. Students traveling for College events will be required to sign an Alamo Colleges District General Participation Release as a condition of participation as is required of all students from each of the Colleges of the Alamo Colleges District.
