Responsibility Allowance for Work Outside the Bargaining Unit. When the Employer temporarily assigns an Employee to carry out the responsibilities of a salaried Employee outside of the bargaining unit, the Employee shall receive an allowance of seven dollars and fifty cents ($7.50) for each shift from the time of the assignment. Effective January 1, 2019 when the Employer temporarily assigns an Employee to carry out the responsibilities of a salaried Employee outside of the bargaining unit, the Employee shall receive an allowance of eight dollars ($8.00) for each shift from the time of the assignment.

(a) When the Employer temporarily assigns an Employee to carry out the responsibilities of a salaried Employee for a period in excess of one-half (1/2) shift, the Employee shall receive seven dollars and fifty cents ($7.50) per shift. (b) When the Employer temporarily assigns an Employee to carry out the responsibilities of a salaried Employee outside of the bargaining unitunit for a period in excess of one-half (1/2) shift, the Employee shall receive an allowance of seven dollars and fifty cents ($7.50) for each shift from the time of the assignment. Effective January 1, 2019 when the Employer temporarily assigns an Employee to carry out the responsibilities of a salaried Employee outside of the bargaining unit, the Employee shall receive an allowance of eight dollars ($8.00) for each shift from the time of the assignment.
