Restrictions Based Upon Date of Employment. 1. Spouses and Dependent Children of Regular or Retired Employees Whose Period of Employment Began Before January 1, 1990. Effective July 1, 1990, all spouses and dependent children of regular or retired employees whose appointment was made or whose contractual arrangements were completed before January 1, 1990, may register for courses at any of the institutions of the USM, with 100% tuition remitted at both the undergraduate and graduate level, subject to the restrictions in this policy.

  • RESTRICTION ON OUTSIDE EMPLOYMENT 55.01 Unless otherwise specified by the Employer as being in an area that could represent a conflict of interest, employees shall not be restricted in engaging in other employment outside the hours they are required to work for the Employer.

  • Condition of Employment The Employee acknowledges that his/her employment and the continuance of that employment with the Company is contingent upon his/her agreement to sign and adhere to the provisions of this Agreement. The Employee further acknowledges that the nature of the Company’s business is such that protection of its proprietary and confidential information is critical to its survival and success.

  • Restriction of Employee Status The status of all employees covered by this Agreement shall be defined under one of the preceding three (3) definitions. If a dispute arises over the proper allocation of employee status, such dispute shall be resolved through Article 9.04

  • Duration of Employment 5.1 A seafarer shall be engaged for the period specified in Appendix 1 to this Agreement and such period may be extended or reduced by the amount shown in Appendix 1 for operational convenience. The employment shall be automatically terminated upon the terms of this Agreement at the first arrival of the ship in port after expiration of that period, unless the Company operates a permanent employment system.

  • Types of Employment 11.1 Employment categories Employees under this agreement will be employed in one of the following categories:

  • Commencement of Employment 2.1 The Employment will start on 28 April 2003 (the “Commencement Date”). The Employment will continue until termination in accordance with the provisions of this agreement.

  • Categories of Employment 2.3.1 Full-time A full-time employee is an employee who is employed for 37.5 or 40 hours per week.
