Retiree health insurance and life insurance coverage may continue until the teacher is eligible for Medicare. The retiree’s spouse may continue on the plan as permitted by state and federal law. All retirement provisions as provided in Article V shall apply.
Retiree. An employee in the bargaining unit who at time of separation of employment from the District immediately becomes an annuitant of the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) or the State Teachers Retirement System (STRS).
Retiree. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, for the purposes of these regulations, a “retiree” is defined as a former employee who, at the time of retire- ment, is receiving an annuity benefit from an entity-sponsored retirement system.
Retiree. A former employee who, at the time of termination of employment, met the eligibility requirements as outlined in subsec- tion 22 CSR 10-3.020(6)(B) and is currently receiving a monthly retirement benefit from one (1) of the retirement systems listed in such rule.
Retiree. Coverage under this program for the retiree and eligible dependents will cease the month the retiree reaches the age of Medicare eligibility (currently 65) or ten (10) years from the retirement date, whichever is the sooner of the two.
Retiree. A member or former member of a Uni- formed Service who is entitled to re- tired, retainer, or equivalent pay based on duty in a Uniformed Service.
Retiree. Any CASA unit member who retires after twenty-five (25) years or more of service shall be eligible to purchase dental, prescription and vision benefits at the District’s group rate by direct billing, upon the expiration of benefits under COBRA. The retiree shall be responsible for the payments of all premiums at the group rate according to payment schedule established by the ben- efit providers. All billing and/or claim inquiries shall be made directly to the provider.
Retiree. Is Contractor drawing retirement benefits from the Public Employee’s Retirement System (PERS)? YES or NO If yes, Contractor represents that it has separated from State service with Mississippi and all covered employers after retirement for a ninety (90) day separation period. Contractor represents that it has received an approval notification from PERS and included it as an attachment to this contract.

Retiree. The plan that covers the member or dependent through the member’s active employment is primary to a plan that covers the member or dependent through the member’s status as a retiree;
