Retirement Credit and Part-time Employment. 3 Employees may maintain full retirement benefits and phase in their retirement by 4 reducing their workload from full-time to part-time (minimum of one-half time for this 5 provision).
Part-Time Employment (a) A part-time employee is an employee who is engaged to work less than full-time hours of an average of 38 hours per week and has reasonably predictable hours of work.
Alternative Employment An employer, in a particular redundancy case, may make application to the Commission to have the general severance pay prescription varied if the employer obtains acceptable alternative employment for an employee.
