Voluntary Participating Teacher. 23.6.1 The purpose of participation in the Peer Assistance Program for the Volunteer Participating Teacher is for peer assistance only and the Consulting Teacher shall not participate in a performance review of any Volunteer Participating Teacher.
Voluntary Participating Teacher. 19.8.1 Voluntary Participating Teachers will be accepted only when sufficient PAR funds are available.
19.8.2 A Voluntary Participating Teacher is a teacher with permanent status who volunteers to participate in the PAR program. The purpose of participation in the PAR program for the Voluntary Participating Teacher is for peer assistance only and the Consulting Teacher shall not participate in a performance review of the Voluntary Participating Teacher. The Voluntary Participating Teacher may terminate his or her participation in the PAR program at any time.
19.8.3 All communication between the Consulting Teacher and a Voluntary Participating Teacher shall be confidential. All documents relating to the Voluntary Participating Teacher’s participation in the PAR program are the property of the Voluntary Participating Teacher so long as participation continues to be voluntary.
19.8.4 Voluntary Participating Teachers will be assigned a Consulting Teacher by the Joint Committee.
Voluntary Participating Teacher. 12.11.2.3.1 A Voluntary Participating Teacher is a permanent teacher who seeks to improve his/her teaching performance. A Voluntary Participating Teacher may request the Joint Committee to assign a Consulting Teacher to provide peer assistance. The Consulting Teacher will not play a role in the evaluation of the Voluntary Participating Teacher. At his/her own discretion, a Voluntary Participating Teacher may terminate participation in PAR at any time.
Voluntary Participating Teacher. A permanent teacher who requests specific 21 assistance. Documentation regarding a Voluntary Participating Teacher shall be 22 considered confidential and shall not be placed in the personnel file.
Voluntary Participating Teacher. 22.3.3.1 This category shall provide assistance to teachers, permanent or probationary, that are not participating in a General Education or Special Education Induction Program who seek to improve their instructional skills, classroom management, knowledge of subject matter and other aspects of teaching performance as described in the California Standards of the Teaching Profession. Teachers desiring assistance in improving their teaching practices may apply to the program for such assistance. The PAC panel shall have the authority to accept or reject such referrals.
22.3.3.2 All communication between the Peer Coach and a Volunteer Participating Teacher shall be confidential and without the written consent of the Participant shall not be shared with others, including the Immediate Supervisor, the Evaluator or the PAC panel.
Voluntary Participating Teacher. This teacher is a teacher with permanent status, an intern teacher, emergency permit teacher, or an experienced teacher new to the District who volunteers to participate in the PAR Program for the sole purpose of receiving peer assistance.
Voluntary Participating Teacher. Any teacher with permanent status whose last annual 10 performance evaluation does not include a rating of “Does not meet standard” in one 11 of the California Standards for Teaching Profession 1-5 and who volunteers to 12 participate in PAR.
Voluntary Participating Teacher. 18.1.2.1 As soon as practicable following acceptance to the program, the Voluntary Participating Teacher shall select a PAR panel-approved Consulting Teacher.
18.1.2.2 The Voluntary Participating Teacher shall meet with the Consulting Teacher to discuss the PAR Program, review his or her goal(s) in entering the program, and if appropriate schedule and conduct classroom observation(s).
18.1.2.3 The Voluntary Participating Teacher and the Consulting Teacher shall prepare an Assistance Plan that addresses the identified goals and establishes a process and timeline for participation in the PAR program.
18.1.2.4 The Voluntary Participating Teacher shall receive periodic feedback from the Consulting Teacher, which may include written reports, regarding his or her progress on the identified goals.
18.1.2.5 It is anticipated that a Voluntary Participating Teacher shall remain in the program one school year or its equivalent. However, the plan may be extended one half year if requested by the Voluntary Participating teacher and with the concurrence of the PAR panel.
18.1.2.6 Any documentation of a Voluntary Participating Teacher's involvement in the PAR program shall be confidential and shall not be placed in the final evaluation or the personnel file.
Voluntary Participating Teacher. Any teacher with permanent status who volunteers to participate in PAR.
Voluntary Participating Teacher. 19.4.2.1 Any permanent teacher may volunteer to utilize the services of a PAR Consulting Teacher. Volunteer Participating Teachers are individuals who wish to grow and learn with the assistance of a peer, or who may be seeking assistance due to a change in assignment or the implementation of new curriculum.
19.4.2.2 The Voluntary Participating Teacher may participate based on resources as determined by the PAR Panel. Referred Participating Teachers shall take precedence.
19.4.2.3 Because Volunteer Participating Teachers are not mandated by law to participate in PAR, neither the PAR Consulting Teacher, the PAR Panel, nor the principal/designee shall forward to the Board of Education names of Volunteer Participating Teachers.
19.4.2.4 All communication between the Consulting Teacher and a Volunteer Participating Teacher shall be confidential, and without the written consent of the Volunteer Participating Teacher, shall not be shared with others, including principal/designee, the Board, or the PAR Panel.
19.4.2.5 The PAR Consulting Teacher’s report shall not be placed in the personnel file of the Volunteer Participating Teacher.
19.4.2.6 The Volunteer Participating Teacher may terminate participation at any time after written notification to the PAR Panel.
19.4.2.7 Participation as a Volunteer Participating Teacher shall not be in lieu of the regular evaluation of the teacher pursuant to Article XI of the Contract between the District and the Tustin Educators Association.
