Rights and Responsibilities of the Grievant. The lodging of any grievance shall be the exclusive right of the members in the bargaining unit or the Association. If a member of the bargaining unit institutes this grievance, the member waives all rights to use any other appeal procedure relating to the grievance until exhausting all the steps of the grievance procedure. Xxxxxxxx retains the right to elect to withdraw the grievance, provided it is in writing. A grievance may be withdrawn at any level but may not be filed a second time. The Association may grieve on its own behalf involving those contractual items directly and exclusively relating to the Association.
