Rotary Group Exchange Tours. (i) A teacher selected to go on a Rotary group study exchange tour may, provided that they spend one full week of the tour on studies directly related to their position and, on their return produce a full report of these studies, be granted one week’s leave on full pay. All applications for this leave must be approved by the employer. In no circumstances shall leave with pay be granted in excess of one week.

Rotary Group Exchange Tours. A principal selected to go on a Rotary group study exchange tour may, provided that they spend one full week of the tour on studies directly related to their position and, on their return produce a full report of these studies, be granted one week’s leave on full pay. All applications for this leave must be approved by the board. In no circumstances shall leave with pay be granted in excess of one week. Leave with pay shall not be granted for Rotoract study tours. Other Forms of Leave Nothing in this agreement limits the facility for the principal to apply to the board for leave with or without pay in any circumstances not specified. Nothing in this agreement shall limit the authority of the board to grant to the principal such special leave, whether with or without pay, as the board considers appropriate to enable the principal to undertake professional development. The board shall have regard to the need to ensure that the principal receives professional development appropriate to the requirements of the position. The board may grant an agreed amount of leave with or without pay to principals to increase their knowledge and skill in Te Reo and/or Tikanga Māori.

  • Shift Exchange The Employer and the Union agree that shift exchanges are a useful process to allow employees more flexibility and improved work/life balance. Employees within an institution who have the same job classification will be allowed to exchange full shifts for positions in which they are qualified. The shift exchange process will not be used to circumvent the bid system or the supervisory chain of command. Shift exchanges will be in accordance with the following:

  • Trunk Data Exchange 65.9.1 Each Party agrees to service trunk groups to the blocking criteria in Section 64.3.4 in a timely manner when trunk groups exceed measured blocking thresholds on an average time consistent busy hour for a twenty-one (21) Day study period. The Parties agree that twenty-one (21) Days is the study period duration objective unless mutually agreed otherwise. The study period will not include a holiday.

  • Shift Rotation Routine shift rotation is not an approach to staffing endorsed by the Employer. Except for emergency situations where it may be necessary to provide safe patient care, shift rotation will not be utilized without mutual consent. If such an occasion should ever occur, volunteers will be sought first. If no one volunteers, the Employer will rotate shifts on an inverse seniority basis until the staff vacancies are filled.

  • Integrated Digital Loop Carriers The feeder portion of some loops may be provide by means of Integrated Digital Loop Carrier (IDLC). IDLC provides a fiber optic cable transmission path that travels directly into BellSouth’s central office local switch. Where BellSouth uses IDLC ,if technically feasible and capacity does exist, BST will provide Al-Call with a Designed DS0 UVL by using alternative provisioning techniques including but not limited to such as “hairpinning” and DAC grooming. Alternative provisioning techniques will be provided at no additional cost to Al-Call . Hairpinning involves providing a DS0 signal from an IDLC-served loop to Al-Call ’s collocation equipment by using a dedicated pathway that traverses BellSouth’s central office switch. BellSouth will provide such DS0 signal to Al-Call by establishing a copper cross connect between the BellSouth switch and Al-Call ’s collocation equipment.

  • Shift Exchanges In no event shall any overtime be payable as a result of employees voluntarily exchanging shifts.
