Common use of Rules of Recall Clause in Contracts

Rules of Recall. (i.) Employees on layoff will be recalled to work in the inverse order of seniority with the most senior employee being the first to be recalled. If an employee refuses recall to a position with the Company, they shall then lose their rights to any further recall and their seniority is terminated. If an employee refused recall to a position with the Company because of a physical or medical condition, they shall continue to accumulate seniority and will be reinstated once they are physically able.
