Safe Driving Day. A safety incentive program has been established for those employees required to drive a vehicle or operate a heavy piece of equipment in the course of their daily assigned activities. As part of the Village’s safety program, employees expected to drive a Village vehicle or share responsibility for driving a Village vehicle for at least 80 days in a calendar year are eligible for a Safe Driving Day. The Safe Driving Day is provided to qualified employees who are determined to have had no preventable accidents or no preventable accidents have occurred in which an employee shares responsibility in the previous calendar year. The employee must have worked for the Village in a capacity requiring him to drive a vehicle or operate a heavy piece of equipment for at least nine (9) months during the previous year. The Safe Driving Day shall not accumulate from year to year. The day off will be selected in accordance with Section 17.5 (Scheduling Time Off).

Safe Driving Day. Effective January 1, 2001, an officer who completes an entire calendar year without any chargeable on-duty motor vehicle accidents as defined by N.J.S.A. 11:3-34.3, will be credited with one (1) day off which will be added to the officer’s vacation time.

  • Opening hours The restaurant must inform Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd of its hours of operation (the “Opening Hours”), and of any changes to such Opening Hours. If the hours of operation are stated on the menu, Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd shall be entitles to treat these as the Opening Hours unless the Restaurant informs Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd otherwise.

  • Boxing Day If another Federal, Provincial or Municipal holiday should be proclaimed during the term of this Agreement, such additional proclaimed holiday will replace one of the above-named holidays as agreed by the parties. The intent is that there will be no more than twelve (12) paid holidays per calendar year for the duration of this agreement.

  • Monday to Saturday Time and a-half for the first three hours and double time thereafter.

  • Workplace Violence Prevention and Crisis Response (applicable to any Party and any subcontractors and sub-grantees whose employees or other service providers deliver social or mental health services directly to individual recipients of such services): Party shall establish a written workplace violence prevention and crisis response policy meeting the requirements of Act 109 (2016), 33 VSA §8201(b), for the benefit of employees delivering direct social or mental health services. Party shall, in preparing its policy, consult with the guidelines promulgated by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration for Preventing Workplace Violence for Healthcare and Social Services Workers, as those guidelines may from time to time be amended. Party, through its violence protection and crisis response committee, shall evaluate the efficacy of its policy, and update the policy as appropriate, at least annually. The policy and any written evaluations thereof shall be provided to employees delivering direct social or mental health services. Party will ensure that any subcontractor and sub-grantee who hires employees (or contracts with service providers) who deliver social or mental health services directly to individual recipients of such services, complies with all requirements of this Section.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An Employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double time and one-half (2½) for hours worked, plus a day off subject to this Agreement.

  • Business Day For purposes of these By-Laws, “Business Day” shall mean any day other than a Saturday, a Sunday or a day on which banking institutions in the State of New York are authorized or obligated by law or executive order to close.
