Salary Credit for Prior Experience. A. In determining the annual increment step of an entering employee, the Board shall give credit for satisfactory previous school experience in the area of employment and approved satisfactory non-school experience related to the area of employment. B. Aides employed four (4) hours or more each day shall have their salary computed on an annual basis. C. In accordance with SB 795 (1997), Sections 19 and 20, employees covered by this agreement shall continue as, or shall become members of, the Employee Retirement System of Baltimore City or the Teachers’ Retirement System or Teachers’ Pension System, whichever is applicable. D. An employee on the licensed therapy assistants salary scale qualifying to transfer to 162 Payroll, shall be given credit on a one for two basis or the next higher step of 162 above their present placement on the licensed therapy assistants salary scale, whichever is greater.

Salary Credit for Prior Experience. A. In determining the annual increment step cf an entering employee, the Employer shall give credit for satisfactory previous school experience in the area of employment and approved satisfactory non-school experience related to the area of employment. B. Aides employed four (4) hours or more each day shall have their salary computed on an annual basis. C. Retirement benefits for employees covered by this Agreement shall be subject to the appropriate City or State legislation. It is the intention of the parties hereto that eligible employees be enrolled and contributions on their behalf commence effective September 1, 1976. D. Employees who are pensioned or who elect to terminate their City service without pension and have completed at least twenty (20} years of service, regardless of age, shall be entitled to convert one (1) day's pay for each four (4) days of unused accumulated sick leave at the time of their retirement and/or termination from City service. E. Salary Guidelines 1. Typically, persons entering employment will be placed on the minimum step of the appropriate salary scale.

  • Prior Experience The teacher is responsible for providing proof of experience satisfactory to the School Division in accordance with this article.

  • Credit for Experience 33.01 Credit for nursing experience will be credited on the following basis: (a) The Employer will credit a newly hired regular full-time nurse with one (1) annual service increment for each completed year of related experience up to the after eight (8) years step of the salary grid and credit a regular part-time nurse, up to the after twelve thousand (12,000) hours step, based on substantiated hours worked. (b) If there has been a break in excess of two years in the nurses’ full-time or part-time employment, then the number of increments to be provided shall be at the discretion of the Employer. 33.02 In order to receive credit for experience it is the nurse’s responsibility to provide the Employer with verification satisfactory to the Employer, of previous related experience during her probationary period. Should a nurse fail to provide such satisfactory verification during her probation she shall forfeit the provisions of this Article. 33.03 Once established consistent with the above provisions, credit for recent related experience will be retroactive to the new nurses date of hire. 33.04 Nurses on staff prior to the signing of this agreement, will be credited with experience as set out under this Article, effective the first full pay period following the date the Employer has confirmed entitlement to such increment, subject to 33.02 above.

  • CREDIT FOR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE All employees shall be classified according to previous comparable supermarket experience. Previous comparable experience shall be granted on the following basis: A. Out of the industry for less than one (1) year will receive credit for fifty percent (50%) of their previous experience to a maximum credit of twelve (12) months' credit for previous experience. B. Out of the industry for more than one (1) year, will receive credit for fifty percent (50%) of their previous experience up to a maximum of six (6) months' credit for previous experience. No previous experience will be considered unless it has been stated by the employee on his or her Application for Employment form. (This provision shall not apply where employees fail to indicate their previous comparable experience by agreement with Management.) New employees having previous comparable experience may be paid at a lower scale of wage than their claimed experience calls for but not less than the minimum rate established by this Agreement for an evaluation period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of employment, providing that if the employee's services are retained, then after the forty-five (45) day period they shall receive any difference between the evaluation rate paid and the rate for which their experience qualifies them retroactive to the date their employment started, and shall receive written notification showing the credit granted for previous experience. In the event of any disagreement as to the credit granted for previous experience, such disagreement shall be considered a Grievance and the Grievance Procedure provided in this Agreement shall apply. Providing that the Employer has: i) Provided the employee with the "New Employee" letter provided for in Section 3.02 of this Agreement not later than two (2) weeks from the date of employment, and ii) Provided the employee with the written notification showing credit granted for previous experience within the forty-five (45) day period required by this Section, and iii) Provided the Union with a copy of the letter showing credit granted for previous experience within the same period then no consideration will be given to any disagreement pertaining to credit for previous experience if presented later than sixty (60) days from the date of employment.

  • Base Salary The Company shall pay to the Executive an annual base salary of $200,000, payable on a monthly basis commencing on the Effective Date (as the same may be adjusted herein, the “Base Salary”). The Base Salary shall be paid in accordance with the Company’s payroll policies.

  • Placement on the Salary Schedule Members of the bargaining unit shall be placed on the salary schedule at the step appropriate for training and creditable years of experience.

  • Salary No salary will be paid to a Member for the performance of his or her duties under this Agreement unless the salary has been approved in writing by a Majority of the Members.

  • Salary Scale The salary scale applicable to Employees shall be set out hereinafter in the Wage Schedule.

  • Annual Salary Executive's compensation shall consist of an annual base salary (the "Annual Salary") of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000), before all customary payroll deductions. The Annual Salary shall be reviewed, and shall be subject to change, by the Board of Directors of Employer (or the Compensation Committee thereof) at least annually while Executive is employed hereunder.

  • Salary on Promotion An employee shall be given an increase to the next higher rate in the new salary range effective on the date of promotion.

  • Placement on Salary Schedule The following rules shall be applicable in determining placement of a teacher on the appropriate salary schedule.
