SBC CALIFORNIA ONLY. For consumer End Users, prior to accessing such information, CLEC shall, on its own behalf and on behalf of SBC CALIFORNIA, comply with all applicable requirements of Section 2891 of the California Public Utilities Code and 47 USC 222 (and implementing FCC decisions thereunder), and, where accessing such information via an electronic interface, CLEC shall have obtained an authorization to become the End User’s local service provider. Accessing such information by CLEC shall constitute certification that CLEC is in compliance with applicable requirements of Section 2891 and Section 222 (and implementing FCC decisions thereunder) and has complied with the prior sentence. CLEC shall receive and retain such information in conformance with the requirements of 47 USC 222 (and implementing FCC decisions thereunder). CLEC agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless SBC CALIFORNIA against any claim made by a consumer End User or governmental entity against SBC CALIFORNIA or CLEC under Section 2891 or Section 222 (and implementing FCC decisions thereunder) or for any breach by CLEC of this section.

SBC CALIFORNIA ONLY. In addition to the terms and conditions included in this Appendix, SBC CALIFORNIA shall comply with any requirements set forth in California Public Utility Commission Decision 00-00-000.
SBC CALIFORNIA ONLY. The Customer will not send charges for any transactions containing harmful matter as defined in the California Penal Code 313. The Customer will not send Information Calls that do not adhere to FCC and CPUC/NPUC regulations or State and Federal laws. The Customer will establish procedures for promptly resolving all End User inquiries. The Customer will provide the End User, upon request, with a specific Information Provider's name, address, and/or telephone number. If the Customer sustains any or all of an Information Service Call charge and the End User appeals to SBC Telco to resolve the dispute, SBC Telco will issue an adjustment to the End User for the full amount and recourse the amount of the adjustment with an associated processing charge to the Customer. The Customer is responsible for blocking End Users from their Information Services at the End User's or SBC Telco's. Consistent with SBC Telco's tariffs, SBC Telco will not deny basic telephone service solely for the End User's failure to pay for Information Service Calls. In the event a Customer fails to comply with any provision of this policy, SBC Telco will give the Customer written notice for the breach. If the Customer fails to cure the breach to SBC Telco's reasonable satisfaction within ten (10) days, SBC Telco may terminate billing for the Customer. The Customer acknowledges that SBC Telco will include a consumer rights notification when the Customer's Pay-Per-Call services are submitted to SBC Telco for billing, using SBC Telco 's standardized wording.
