Scheduled Planning Time. On student contact days, each certified employee shall have regularly scheduled planning time. The planning time will be a priority to implement 40 minutes daily, or in cases where time cannot be lumped due to student scheduling, up to 260 minutes weekly. Every effort will be made to create daily minutes for teacher effectiveness and efficiency.
Scheduled Planning Time. Each full time certified employee shall have a regularly scheduled planning period (s) equaling at least fifty (50) minutes of each day during student contact time as scheduled by the administration with input from the certified employee.
Scheduled Planning Time. Each teacher at the junior high and high school will be scheduled for a daily planning time of a minimum of one core class period in length. Elementary teachers will have forty-five (45) minutes of planning period daily to include thirty (30) continuous minutes. Planning periods will be reduced proportionally on early-dismissal or late start days. Committee meetings or other meetings may be scheduled once per month during plan time.
