Schedules of Special Subject Professional Employees and Itinerants. 1. Professional employees who are itinerants, and professional employees in Pupil Personnel Services, including, but not limited to, Speech and Language Pathologists, School Psychologists, Adjustment Counselors, and Physical Therapists shall not be reassigned unless there is first a meeting with the appropriate Director. If the reassignments occur, the affected professional employees will have the right to remain with their primary assignment (school at which majority of time is spent. Primary assignment is to be distinguished from the current assignment which is the total assignment), or they may choose the newly resulting assignments. If more than one professional employee is involved, then the selection of the assignment shall be made on the basis of seniority. The assignments will not be made arbitrarily by the directors. Every effort will be made to notify Professional Employees who are itinerants and Professional Employees in Pupil Personnel Services, including but not limited to Speech and Language Pathologists, School Psychologists, Adjustment Counselors, and Physical Therapists of their assignment prior to the end of the school year, but no later than August 1. If a new assignment is created and there is no Itinerant/Pupil Personnel Services employee who has this as a primary assignment, Itinerant/Pupil Personnel employees may bid on this new assignment. If current employees in the district meet the qualifications of the new assignment, they shall be given preference over new hires. Notwithstanding the above, any vacant assignment created by the bidding process shall be posted in accordance with Article XIII - Transfers. In the event special qualifications are required, the decision of the Superintendent shall be final.

  • Recognition of Union Stewards and Grievance Committee In order to provide an orderly and speedy procedure for the settling of grievances, the Employer acknowledges the rights and duties of the Union Stewards.   • Contractor’s Project Manager and Key Personnel Contractor shall appoint a Project Manager to direct the Contractor’s efforts in fulfilling Contractor’s obligations under this Contract. This Project Manager shall be subject to approval by the County and shall not be changed without the written consent of the County’s Project Manager, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld.   • Function of Joint Health and Safety Committee All incidents involving aggression or violence shall be brought to the attention of the Joint Health and Safety Committee. The Employer agrees that the Joint Health and Safety Committee shall concern itself with all matters relating to violence to staff.

  • PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY (APPLIES TO RNS ONLY 19.01 The parties agree that resident care is enhanced if concerns relating to professional practice and workload are resolved in a timely and effective manner, as set out below; In the event that the Home assigns a number of residents or a workload to an individual employee or group of employees, such that she or they have cause to believe that she or they are being asked to perform more work than is consistent with proper resident care, she or they shall:

  • Covered Benefits and Services The Contractor shall provide to its Hoosier Healthwise members, at a minimum, all benefits and services deemed “medically reasonable and necessary” and covered by the IHCP, and included in the Indiana Administrative Code and under the Contract with the State. A covered service is considered medically necessary if it meets the definition as set forth in 405 IAC 5-2-17. The Contractor shall deliver covered services sufficient in amount, duration or scope to reasonably expect that provision of such services would achieve the purpose of the furnished services. Coverage may not be arbitrarily denied or reduced and is subject to certain limitations in accordance with CFR 438.210(a)(4), which specifies when Contractors may place appropriate limits on services:  On the basis of criteria applied under the State plan, such as medical necessity; or  For the purpose of utilization control, provided the services furnished are sufficient in amount, duration or scope to reasonably be expected to achieve the purpose for which the services are furnished.

  • State Employee Group Insurance Program (SEGIP) During the life of this Agreement, the Employer agrees to offer a Group Insurance Program that includes health, dental, life, and disability coverages equivalent to existing coverages, subject to the provisions of this Article. All insurance eligible employees will be provided with a Summary Plan Description (SPD) called “Your Employee Benefits”. Such SPD shall be provided no less than biennially and prior to the beginning of the insurance year. New insurance eligible employees shall receive a SPD within thirty (30) days of their date of eligibility.
