Scheduling of Variable Shifts. For units that use self-scheduling, the Hospital will 15 endeavor to award preference for shifts (day, evening or night) based on seniority, 16 provided however that the nurses have equivalent qualifications, clinical experience 17 and/or post-licensure clinical specialty education. The parties agree that appropriate 18 skill mix and safe patient care shall take priority over seniority in all situations. In 19 addition, the use of seniority may not result in a nurse being required to work different 20 shifts (day, evening or night) in the same workweek, absent mutual agreement.

  • Scheduling of Vacation A) The Employer shall permit annual vacations to be taken during the entire year.

  • Scheduling of Vacations Vacations shall be scheduled at a time mutually acceptable to the OSFM and the employee and consistent with the work requirements of the OSFM.
