Common use of School Closings Clause in Contracts

School Closings. When in the judgment of the administrative officials authorized to make such decisions, school shall not be opened or school is closed on regularly calendared duty days, no teacher/ancillary staff shall have to report for duty, and there shall be no diminution of pay. In the event a teacher/ancillary staff has received approval for a necessity leave day and school is canceled, the day shall not be deducted from the teacher’s accrued leave.
