Make-up Days. To the extent permitted by the applicable general wage determination, when an employee has been prevented from working for reasons beyond the control of the employer, including, but not limited to inclement weather or other natural causes, during the regularly scheduled work week, a make-up day may be worked on a non-regularly scheduled work day for which an employee shall receive eight (8) hours pay at the straight time rate of pay or any premium rate required for such hours under the prevailing wage law.
Make-up Days. During Pre-Residency and Residency I, residency candidates will follow ETSU’s calendar and must schedule to make up absence(s) with the mentor teacher and the Clinical Supervisor. During Residency II, Candidates will have absences added to the end of the placement. Candidates must coordinate with and receive approval from the mentor teacher and the Clinical Supervisor to make up the missed day(s). Excessive absences due to illness or other extenuating circumstances may interfere with graduation and/or result in a candidate’s removal from the Clinical Residency placement. Candidates in Residency II follow the calendar of the School District rather than ETSU’s calendar. (Ex: Fall and Spring breaks are based on the school calendar.)
Make-up Days. 2 Any make-up days will occur at the end of the regular teaching year. 3
Make-up Days a. In the event that school is closed, or schedules are altered, the days and/or hours missed shall not be made up unless the number of student instructional days and/or student instructional hours fall(s) below the level required by the Revised School Code, Michigan Department of Education Rules or by Section 101 of the State Aid Act in order to receive full state aid payments.
b. In the event that the Revised School Code, Michigan Department of Education Rules or Section 101 of the State Aid Act is repealed, amended or otherwise modified during the term of this Agreement (e.g. by the courts, legislature, Department of Education, etc.), this Section shall be altered to meet state requirements, subject to review by the parties. If State statutes or school laws change current instructional time guidelines, the parties agree to adjust the school calendar.
c. If fewer than the state required number of student days and/or student hours of instruction required to receive full state aid payments have been provided to students by the last regularly scheduled instructional day, the calendar shall be extended. Such lost time shall be made up at a time mutually agreed upon by the Board and Association.
d. The last day of employee service shall be the last student attendance day, pursuant to c. above unless mutually changed by the parties. The provision of this Article which requires the make- up of certain lost instructional days and/or hours shall not result in any increase or decrease in compensation to employees.
Make-up Days. Water Department employees will be permitted to trade overtime for make-up days.
Make-up Days. In the event the District is required by the State to make up student instructional day(s) or hours, employees required to work rescheduled time. Employees will not be compensated for make-up days if prior compensation was awarded.
Make-up Days. Make-up days will not be scheduled unless the total number of attendance days falls below the State-required minimum.

Make-up Days. 2 If school is closed due to inclement weather or other reasons, the employee will work on the 3 District scheduled make-up days. If the District determines that the school year will be less 4 than the contracted days of the employee, the District will provide opportunities to keep the 5 employee whole.
Make-up Days. If there are more than seven (7) calamity days in a given school year, students and staff will be required to make up days, beginning with the eighth (8th) day, as determined and identified as part of the adopted school calendar.
