School Closings. If school is closed Education Assistants will be paid for the number of hours they were scheduled to work. If school start time is delayed due to inclement weather Education Assistants shall be paid their regular hours of work. If school is closed due to cold weather, Education Assistants may be required to report to work. Plans for professional development taking place on those days would be shared ahead of time with the Education Assistant Professional Development Committee (once planned) for all Education Assistants.
