SCHOOL-TO-WORK PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS – AGENCY COLLABORATION. In addition to the objectives identified in Exhibit III, Section I C. 2., Objectives for School-to-Work Services, the Agency Collaboration model addresses the following additional objectives: Assist individuals with the most significant disabilities to obtain and maintain gainful employment. Increase collaboration among Employment Contractors to identify and implement best practice methods for providing employment services for individuals who require support differently than what is offered within current service models. Create replicable processes for the development of new approaches to obtaining employment for individuals who require different support services than what is offered within the current County S2W transition models. Contractors providing S2W services using the Agency Collaboration model shall comply with the program requirements in the S2W services general model, in addition to the requirements of the Agency Collaboration model. Meet eligibility requirements in Exhibit III, Section III. A. 1. and: Eligible students must want paid community-based employment, participating in all phases of the Agency Collaboration model. All students must attend a school district (District) participating in the Agency Collaboration model and be identified by the District, and the County, as having support needs that would be better served through this model in achieving employment. Except with prior written approval from the County, students shall have birthdates between: September 1, 1998 and August 31, 1999 and exiting a participating school district in June 2020. September 1, 1999 and August 31, 2000 and exiting a participating school district in June of 2021. The Contractor shall have participated in at least one S2W Agency Collaboration or shall have a minimum of 2 years providing General Model S2W services and meet the current S2W average for employed students with high acuity (2014: 41%). The Contractor shall participate in District hosted face-to-face project meetings in order to identify and coordinate responsibilities and services that promote the successful employment of all students. These activities are documented through staff logs, case notes, or other similar documents.   • Selection of Subcontractors, Procurement of Materials and Leasing of Equipment The contractor shall not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurement of materials and leases of equipment. The contractor shall take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure nondiscrimination in the administration of this contract.

  • Drug and Alcohol Testing – Safety-Sensitive Functions A. Employees required to have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are subject to pre-employment, post-accident, random and reasonable suspicion testing in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation rules, Coast Guard Regulations (46 CFR Part 16) or the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991. The testing will be conducted in accordance with current Employer policy.

  • Joint Network Implementation and Grooming Process Upon request of either Party, the Parties shall jointly develop an implementation and grooming process (the “Joint Grooming Process” or “Joint Process”) which may define and detail, inter alia:

  • Emergency Standby for Goods and/or Services If any Federal or State official, having authority to do so, declares an emergency or the occurrence of a natural disaster within the State of Connecticut, DAS and the Client Agency may request the Goods and Services on an expedited and prioritized basis. Upon receipt of such a request the Contractor shall make all necessary and appropriate commercially reasonable efforts to reallocate its staffing and other resources in order to give primary preference to Performing this Contract ahead of or prior to fulfilling, in whole or in part, any other contractual obligations that the Contractor may have. The Contractor is not obligated to make those efforts to Perform on an expedited and prioritized basis in accordance with this paragraph if doing so will make the Contractor materially breach any other contractual obligations that the Contractor may have. Contractor shall acknowledge receipt of any request made pursuant to this paragraph within 2 hours from the time that the Contractor receives it via purchase order or through a request to make an expedited or prioritized purchase through the State of Connecticut Purchasing Card (MasterCard) Program (the “P-Card Program”). If the Contractor fails to acknowledge receipt within 2 hours, confirm its obligation to Perform or actually Perform, as set forth in the purchase order or through the P-Card Program, then DAS and the Client Agency may procure the Performance from another source without further notice to Contractor and without creating any right of recourse at law or in equity against DAS or Client Agency.

  • Post-Award Small Business Program Re Representation If applicable, The Contractor shall report timely and accurately their small business program re-representation and update XXX.xxx.

  • CONTRACTOR STAFF WITHIN AUTHORIZED USER AGREEMENT The provisions of this section shall apply unless otherwise agreed in the Authorized User Agreement. All employees of the Contractor, or of its Subcontractors, who shall perform under an Authorized User Agreement, shall possess the necessary qualifications, training, licenses, and permits as may be required within the jurisdiction where the Services specified are to be provided or performed, and shall be legally entitled to work in such jurisdiction. All Business Entities that perform Services under the Contract on behalf of Contractor shall, in performing the Services, comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws concerning employment in the United States.   • Drug Testing Procedures a. The testing procedures and safeguards provided in this policy shall be adhered to by any laboratory personnel administering departmental drug tests.

  • Technical Standards Applicable to a Wind Generating Plant i. Low Voltage Ride-Through (LVRT) Capability A wind generating plant shall be able to remain online during voltage disturbances up to the time periods and associated voltage levels set forth in the standard below. The LVRT standard provides for a transition period standard and a post-transition period standard.

  • COMPLIANCE BY CONTRACTOR WITH LAWS AND REGULATIONS/ EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY 6.1 In connection with the performance of the Services, the Contractor shall comply with all applicable statutes, laws, regulations, and orders of federal, state, county or municipal authorities which impose any obligation or duty upon the Contractor, including, but not limited to, civil rights and equal employment opportunity laws. In addition, if this Agreement is funded in any part by monies of the United States, the Contractor shall comply with all federal executive orders, rules, regulations and statutes, and with any rules, regulations and guidelines as the State or the United States issue to implement these regulations. The Contractor shall also comply with all applicable intellectual property laws.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "C", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.
