Section 10.4.2. 39 In the event of a tie in seniority dates of employees, the application date shall be used to establish 40 seniority. In the event of a further tie, the parties shall use the drawing of lots.

Section 10.4.2. 42 Improvement Of Sub-Standard Performance. The supervisor will thoroughly describe all job- 43 related problems to provide examples and specific descriptions of problem areas. In addition to 44 a clear explanation of the problem the supervisor will fully explain:
Section 10.4.2. 7 Seniority rights shall not be lost but shall not further accrue for the following reasons: 9 A. Time spent in layoff status as hereinafter provided; 10 B. Time spent on authorized leaves exceeding one (1) calendar month, except as provided in 11 Section 10.4.1. 12 C. Change in job classification within the bargaining unit. Employees who change job 13 classification within the bargaining unit shall retain their hire date in the previous 14 classification, even though they have acquired a new hire date and a new classification. 16 Section 10.5. 17 Employees who assume a position with the South Whidbey School District outside the bargaining unit 18 shall retain their bargaining unit seniority for a period of one (1) calendar year.
Section 10.4.2. Whenever an employee is given a permanent and stationary disability rating by a disability 12 board, return to the job must be based on the same medical information, which the employee 13 used to obtain the award. Unless these medical facts are carefully considered, subsequent 14 injuries or aggravations of the original injury can occur. If there is a position available, it is the 15 policy of the District that an employee return to duties the employee can perform safely without 16 undue risk or further injury to the employee or other employees.
