Security Code. The Payment Card security code (e.g. CVV2, CVC2, CID, PVV, appears inside or near the signature strip. The security code is made up of digits that appear after the card number or of parts of the card number, e.g. in a separate field, and typi- cally consists of three digits. The terms and conditions set out in sections 15–27 of these terms and conditions. In the event of conflict between the General Terms and Conditions and the Special Terms and Conditions with regard to a specific situation, the Special Terms and Conditions take precedence.

Security Code. Security Code adds an additional multi factor authentication feature that requires the use of a one- time passcode or a security token when funds are being moved in and out of business accounts. This feature provides an additional level of security by requiring that a security code obtained from either a one-time passcode or from a security token be entered by the user that is designated to approve transfer of funds via Wire, ACH or Tax Payments. A Wire, ACH or Tax Payments will not be completed without the security code. The one time passcode will be provided via text or phone call to your phone on file. A security token is a device or a software application that generates a one-time digital code to use each time you process a funds transfer pursuant to this Agreement.
Security Code. (a) The security code is compulsory if it is supported by the card scheme for the relevant card. Without a valid security code (if the card scheme requires this), we may not authorise the payment. (b) You must not extract (take), keep or reveal any security code, other than for the purpose of processing transaction data.

A solution where the Cardholder has registered with the Merchant with a username and password and in which Card Data is stored by the Merchant’s payment solution provider at the time of the first transaction. The Cardholder may subse- quently complete Card Payments to the Merchant without entering Payment Card information, simply by entering the username, password and the Security Code. An authentication based on the use of two or more elements categorised as knowledge (something only the user knows), possession (something only the user possesses) and inherence (something the user is) that are independent, in that the breach of one does not compromise the reliability of the others, and is designed in such a way as to protect the confidentiality of the authentication data and which fulfill the requirements set out in the EU Commission’s delegated regulation 2018/389. The currency in which the Cardholder pays and which is stated on the Receipt. The data used to complete a Card Payment. Security Code. 5.1.1 Access to and use of password protected and/or secure areas of the Services are restricted to authorised users only. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain unauthorised access to such parts of the Services, or to any other protected information, through any means not intentionally made available by DBS for your specific use. 5.1.2 You will be required to select or designate a password, personal or log- on identification number and other code and access procedures (such items to be referred to as "Security Code") for use in connection with access to the Services or use of the facilities provided through the Services. You hereby agree to keep the Security Code confidential. You are to notify DBS (xxxxxxxxx@xxx.xxx) immediately if you have knowledge that or have reason for suspecting that the confidentiality of the Security Code has been compromised or if there has been any unauthorised use of the Security Code. 5.1.3 You agree to be bound by any access or use of the Services (whether such access or use are authorised by you or not) which are referable to your Security Code. You agree and acknowledge that any use of or access to the Services referable to your Security Code and any Electronic Instructions shall be deemed to be, as the case may be: use of or access to the Services by you; or Electronic Instructions transmitted or validly issued by you. You agree and acknowledge that any use of or access to the Services and any information or data referable to your Security Code shall be deemed to be (a) use or access of the Services by you; or (b) information or data transmitted or validly issued by you, or both and you agree to be bound by any access or use (whether such access or use are authorised by you or not) referable to your Security Code, and you agree that DBS shall be entitled (but not obliged) to act upon, rely on or hold you solely responsible and liable in respect thereof as if the same were carried out or transmitted by you.
