Security Cameras. Security cameras have been installed throughout the Facility; however, they will not routinely be used in areas where there is an expectation of privacy, such as restrooms or patient care areas.

Security Cameras. Video security cameras are located throughout University Housing to monitor and surveil University property for safety, security, and to aid law enforcement. All recording shall be done with recognition of the reasonable expectation of privacy among members of the University community.
Security Cameras. If relevant to discipline of an employee, security video may be made available to the Association or employee for viewing to the extent it was made, exists, or has been retained by the District. If students are personally identifiable on the video, and parent consents or releases have not been obtained by the District, the video shall be available only if students’ images can be obscured to make the students no longer personally identifiable. The District and Association shall split the cost for third-party services if the District lacks software to obscure images.

Security Cameras. The primary purpose and use of the security cameras in the District is to monitor illegal activity, unauthorized access to restricted areas, unauthorized removal of personal and/or District property, damage to property and other acts of wrongdoing. The use of security cameras will not occur in restrooms, locker rooms, shower areas, individual classrooms or individual offices. However, individual classrooms and individual offices may be recorded as mutually agreed by the teacher and administrator. Surveillance equipment will not be utilized to observe teacher performance or otherwise be accessed as documentation in the employee evaluation process. Data from the surveillance equipment may be reviewed by the District's personnel in connection with investigations. Access to data involving employees will be limited to appropriate administrative personnel and attorneys, police liaison officers, law enforcement officials and in response to subpoenas or court orders. Such review will take place in the office of one of the parties listed above. In the event data from security cameras is used for the purpose of investigating or disciplining an employee, the following process will be followed:
