In the event that there are more qualified employees than available positions in a given program, the following criteria shall be used in sequential order to determine placement in the available position(s). • Teaching seniority in the state of Washington • Teaching seniority in the Washougal School District • Lottery The actions required to meet District needs and state statute will be implemented on or before May 15 by the District. All certificated staff members who are not recommended for retention in accordance with these procedures shall be terminated from employment and placed in an employment pool for possible re-employment. Employment pool personnel will be given the opportunity to fill open positions within the programs for which they are qualified in Section 7.1 C in inverse order of lay off. Employees will remain eligible for recall for a period of 27 months.

  • Panel Selection 1.
